Carboxymethyl starch (CMS) is an important modified starch with unique properties due to the presence of negatively charged functional group (CH2COO-). Carboxy Methyl starch has a wide range of applications in industries, mostly used for purposes of thickening, stabilization, water preserving. It is also used in textile industry as thickening agent in textile printing paste and as sizing agent especially for hydrophilic yarn. In soaps a small addition ofCarboxymethyl starchincreases the suspending power and overall washing efficiency of a soap, but the same amount of Carboxymethyl starch very greatly improved the suspension action and overall efficiency when a sodium salt of surface active agents in the detergents. Carboxymethyl starch being used in the corrugated box gum along with plain tapioca starch. Addition of Carboxymethyl starch will improve the mixture of corrugation paste by keeping tapioca starch in suspension during corrugation. CMS can be used for sizing mixture preparation for yarn sizing application.
Technical SpecificationsDrilling starch is non-ionic corn, tapioca based polymers for use in all water-based drilling, completion and stimulation fluids. Drilling starch is extensively used as an additive to prevent the seepage of soil filtrates into the wells in all types of water based drilling fluid systems by increasing the viscosity of the drilling mud and reducing the fluid loss by sealing the walls of the Borehole. High quality biocide added to resist against bacterial and enzymatic degradation.

The High Temperature Drilling starch is a polymer derived from the unmodified starch including amylopectin content. It has epichlorohydrin and has a viscosity which to reach to the maximum value. This starch has fermentation stability and can be hydroxypropylated. It gives enhanced high temperature fluid loss performance when works in combination with drilling fluids.
The High Temperature Drilling starch is also used in other applications. Offered with a high temperature tolerance, it is apt for drilling, work-over or completion fluid loss and works as a control additive appropriate for its utilization in high temperatures. It has optimal use in all water-based drilling, stimulation and completion fluids. This starch can meet all industrial standards.
