What is Integral Waterproofing ?Integral waterproofing goes inside the concrete. Waterproofing memrance has a number of issues. It can be expensive, time-consuming, and easy to damage. Most membrances are made using oil-based materials and are not sustainable. If they leak, it's not obvious who caused the problem and there can be a lot of finger-pointing. Followings are the features and benefit of integral waterproofing over membrane waterproofing.
Features & Benefits
Ultramax integral water proofing chemicals can be used in builidng constructions for
DescriptionUltramax is a higly duty waterproofing admixture for concrete, mortars and any type of cementiation renders. It contains an inbuilt integral waterproofing agent, corrosion resistant chemical, together with a chemically active ingredient which reacts with the hydrated cement paste to form insoluble crytalline pore fillers. This combined action of ULTRAMAX makes the concrete totally sealed against penetration of water (or liquids).
SBR-AL is acrylic latex based white colored liquid integral waterproofing compund. It is used in concrete and mortar where high degree on waterproofing is needed. Components of SBR-AL reacts directly with the free lime released in the hydration process of the Portland cement resulting in a highly water repellant substance which is deposited through the concreate/cement matrix. The presence of this integrally contained compound resists and reverses the normal tendency of hardened concrete to absorb water by capillary action.

A liquid water reducing agent these admixtures slow the rate of cement hydration. Preventing th cement from setting before it can be placed and compacted. This type of admixture is mainly used in hot conditions and climates or on very large pours.
Use
RWR-323 is used as a general purpose admixture where the placing conditions for high quality concrete are more demanding such as :
Advantages
AppearanceDark Brown Colored Liquid
PackagingRWR-323 is available in 220 Litrer Non Returnable Drums.
Storage & Shelf LifeOne (1) year in unopened, original containers when stored free frost and below 25oC.
DosageTypical dosage RWR-323 400ml/100kg cement. The dosage rate can be increased to 500ml/10 kg cement to overcome difficulties in quality of cement and aggregates, high temperature and difficult placing conditions. Higher dosages provide longer setting times. In many cases it is advisable to carry out trial mixes to establish the exact dosage rate requied RWR-323 is compatible with all typed of portland cement including s.r.c.
Appilication Conditions Instructions for useFor best results delay the dosage in to the water until the cement and RWR-323 have been added and intitially mixed with water. RWR-323 may be added to the mixed concrete if required. Howerver, frther mixing should take place for at least one minute per cubic metre of concrete.
Important NotesWhen accidental overdosing of normal setting RWR-323 occure the setting time will be retarded. During this period the concrete must be kept moist to prevent premature drying out.

Ultracrete MR-D4 is an emulsifying agent to be mixed with diesel to obtain a mould release agent.
UsesUltracrete MR-D4 when mixed with diesel functions like a mould release agent and it can be applied to all types of shutters, moulds, steel, timber, plywood, plastic and rubber moulds.
Application InstructionsJust mix Ultracrete MR-D4 in diesel in the proportion of 1 ltr MR-D4 to 40 ltrs of diesel. The concentrate can be directly added to the drum containing diesel close to the lid and rolled over to obtain uniformity in mixing. The mixed material is ready to be used as a mould release agent.
Properties
CoverageMR-D4 when mixed with 40 ltr of diesel covers an area of 25 to 50M2/litre when spray applied. On new steel shutters the coverage is about 50M2/litre. In case of plywood and metal shutters better coverage results are obtained by progressive use. When brush applied less coverage is obtained because of evaporation losses.

Ultracrete MR-SB is ca chemical release agent suitable for shutters and moulds. Clean release given a fair faced concrete surface. Ultracrete MR-SB reacts chemically with cement in such a manner that excellent release properties are imparted to the treated face of the shutters and moulds. Concrete casted with Ultracrete MR-SB on the shutters have smooth, hard uniform and light coloured finish. The adhesion of subsequent finishes such as renders, paints or textures coating is unaffected by use of Ultracrete MR-SB
UsesUltracrete MR-SB is suitable for all types of shutters and moulds. MR-SB can be applied to steel, timber plywood, plastic and rubber moulds.
AdvantagesUltracrete MR-SB gives very good shutter releasing properties. Other oils used in similar application penetrate into the concrete and interfere with the strength of the member. Apart from this they leave ugly stains on the concrete surface. Before subsequent finishes one needs to chemically or mechanically remove these stains and leftovers of these oils. Ultracrete MR-SB is designed keeping all these problems in mind and to ensure least damages to the shutters and to the concrete. Application of conventional mould releasing oils is redious and time consuming. Ultracrete MR-SB can be sprayed saving time and labour.
Directions for useWhen using for the first time spray Ultracrete MR-SB on the shutters while erecting them and just before concreting. Thereafter Ultracrete MR-SB can be sprayed just after deshuttering and cleaning. During initial uses new commercial ply shutters tend to be absorptive. Hence it is necessary that new ply shutters are sprayed just before concreting also.
CoverageUltracrete MR-SB covers 25 to 50 m2/litre when spray applied. On new steel shutters teh coverage is about 50m2/litre. In case of plywood as well as metal shutters better converage results are obtained by progressive use of Ultracrete MR-SB. When brush applied less coverage is obtained because of evaporation losses.
PackingUltracrete MR-SB is available in 225 ltr containers.
Shelf LifeUltracrete MR-SB has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture if stored in a cool dry place in original packing.
