Peek is part of a family of polyarylether ketones (PAEK) but the peek acronym is most recognized. Related chemistries based on PEK and Peek offer unique thermal benefits to the traditional PAEK Peek is recognized as having the best balance of chemical resistance, wear resistance and best heat resistance among all thermoplastics. It is melt processible allowing for processing into shapes by extrusion and injectiion molding.

Peek is known for its exceptional chemical inertness including to saturated steam .only a few halogenated acids like HF will affect PEEK. Peek poymers have a softening temperataure of 175 – 200^oC and a melting temperataure of 350^oC. Peek material complies with FDA regulation 21 CAR 177-2415 for repeated food contact. PEEK also has V- O flammability ratings and exhibit vey low smoke and toxic gas emission when exposed to flame.

PTFE Universal Rope Gasket is a specially formulated sealing material that withstands vibration, wide operating temperature range and has extremely low coefficient of friction. GRAPHITE PTFE PACKING is a Duplex plaited packing of exceptionally strong fluoro polymer blended with super grade graphite particles to enhance lubricity and heat dissipation and low thermal expansion. This packing is particularly suitable for high shaft speeds. The packing is recommended for valve stems centrifugal and reciprocating application, Slurry pumps, a fairly good packing for high pressure application against caustics, acids chemicals, liquors, pulp with the exception of strong oxidizing agents. This packing has replaced the blue asbestos packing and remains as a first choice with the capability of total chemical inertia. The recommended temperature for this packing is between -240oC to 300oC and pressure upto 350 BAR.

ELECTRICAL :It is exceptionally high dielectric strength, Dielectric constant 1.8 - 2.7 it will not carbonize on exposure to arching or burning. Electrical insulation in excess of Class H requirements over 180oC.

MECHANICAL :With an exceptionally smooth surface, low friction and non stick it has high strength to weight ratio. It has near zero flow under heat & pressure and high strength to thickness ratio.

THERMAL :In extreme heat & cold resistance it is compared to other plastic materials. Has high thermal stability up to +270oC. Maintains strength and flexibility down to -200oC. PTFE-Glass operating range is from -200oC to 270oC.
