Polyester film or BoPET is popularly known, is made of stretched Poly Ethylene Terephthalate (PET). BoPET finds its applications in flexible packaging, printing & lamination, metalizing, textile yarn and electrical insulation is used for its high tensile strength, chemical & dimensional stability, transparency, reflectivity, and gas & aroma properties.

SML is equipped with world class two 8.7 metre wide PET production lines with a production capacity of 68, 000 TPA, capable of producing PET Film in a thickness range of 10 Micron to 128 Micron (40 Gauge to 512 Gauge) for multiple applications and as per customers specifications. Types of Pet Film: Corona, Isotropic, Chemical/Acrylic Coated Film, Twist Grade, Stamping Foil Grade & Yarn Grade film.

Metalized films are polymer films coated with a thin layer of metal, usually aluminium. They offer the glossy metallic appearance of an aluminium foil at a reduced weight with cost effectiveness, widely used for flexible packaging, ducting and decorative applications.

SML is equipped with 5 Metalizers with a total metalizing capacity of 32, 200 TPA, offering varieties of Optical Densities, ranging from as low as 1.0 to High Optical Density upto 3.0. Our Metalizers are capable of metalizing PET as well as BOPP film in various thicknesses. We specialize in Pin Hole Free metalizing for metallic yarn. We can Metalize the film on both sides also for insulation applications.
