Transformer Ratio Meter

The instrument without any need of balancing precisely & accurately measures the voltage transformation ratio of single phase3-phase delta or star connected transformers, CTs & PTs, Power Transformers.Test Voltage : The Instrument provides 3 isolated test voltages of 48V & 4.8V which enable the testing of both power transformers & CTs.Display : 4 digit LCD displays the ratio i.e. ratio of high voltage winding to low voltage winding at low flux in the core. Ratio is displayed in three ranges i.e.1-10, 10-100, 100-1000 by auto ranging.Principle of operation: This Instrument uses ratio-metric circuit in which the ratio of test specimen is compared with known internal standard.

Winding Resistance Meter

POWER SUPPLY 240V AC ±15% , 50Hz ±5%, single phase.
ACCURACY 0.5% ± 1 digits over the entire range.

It is specially designed for Highly Inductive objects like 400KV220KV.Special care is taken for measuring 3 phase transformers by using band switch matrix, to avoid climbing on transformers for safe & measurements. This is only indigenous TWRM which gives very fast readings for 3Phase Star-Delta any combination Transformers. The built in open circuit 30 Volts Dc Supply ensures that core of the transformer is saturated for fast measurements to be taken. Instrument uses ratio-metric circuit where the resistance of specimen is compared with known internal standard and 4 digit LEDLCD display is provided for resistance measurement in milliohms and in ohms. Care is taken to absorb the Back emf of such transformers. For user safety, Indication for discharges is provided on front panel , if the current through winding under measurement is disturbeddiscontinued. Instrument has built in 10A regulated and highly stable current source with current selection of 10Amp, 1Amp, 0.1Amp & 0.01Amp.

Dielectric Constant Meter

The dielectric Constant Meter is specially designed for measurement of relative dielectric constant permittivity of semi-solid or liquid insulating materials at 1 MHz test frequency as per ASTM D 924. This instrument is used with SIVA Three Terminal Oil Cell. It can also be used with any other test zig.The reading of dielectric constant is direct and no calculations are involved.

This series of Million Megohm Meters are designed to test electronic components such as paper Capacitors, Plastic Capacitors, Ceramic Capacitors, Insulators, Semi Conductors, Switches, Connectors, transformers, Motors etc. as per I. S. I. recommendations.The instruments have facility for checking insulation resistance in the range of 1 meg ohm to 10 million meg ohm after one minute of charging. Ultra stabilized power supply (.001% short term drift) permits measurements of intrinsic value of insulation resistance if required, even with capacitive loads. Separate push button controls and visual indicators for "Charge", and "Discharge" function are ideally suited for rapid and safe testing of components in a factory. Maximum output current has been limited to safe value to eliminate the risk of serious shock to operators. The instruments are available in five models as per specifications given overleaf.
