L&T Agriculture Submersible Flat Cables are made of bright, plain multi-strand annealed copper conductor, as per class 5 of IS:8130:1984. These cables are used for Agricultural submersible pump set applications and are available in 3 core - 500 meter & 1000 meter drums.
Voltage Grade 1.1 kV (1100 V) conforming to IS:694:1990.
L&T XLPE Agricultural Flat Cables - These wires are made of cross-linked polyethylene material with high continuous conductor temperature - 90 C and high intermittent overloading - 130 C. Since it has better corrosion resistance, it is suitable for alkaline hard water areas.
HRC Fuse Link range covers ratings from 2A to 800A. HRC Fuse-link range is available in 14x51 Cylindrical, DIN and BS type

These capacitors are self-healing type. The Capacitors come with an over pressure disconnector and finger proof terminals.
LTXL: Ultra-Heavy Duty CapacitorsThe LTXL, ultra-heavy duty capacitors are advanced APP capacitors. They can withstand heavy load fluctuations, high inrush current and harmonics. They can be used in applications such as welding, steel rolling, etc., with heavy load fluctuations, high harmonic distortion levels (non-linear load >15%) and systems with high dv / dt. The capacitor is designed to operate at ambient temperature up to 70deg C.

Automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) panels ensure consistently high power factor under fluctuating load conditions without any manual intervention. In addition, the occurrence of leading power factor is prevented. They continuously sense and monitor the load condition, automatically switch ON and OFF relevant capacitor and protect against any electrical faults in a manner that will ensure safe isolation of the power factor correction equipment.
The increasing use of modern power electronic apparatus (drives, uninterruptible power supplies, etc.) produces nonlinear current and thus loads the network with harmonics. The capacitance of the power capacitor forms a resonant circuit in conjunction with the feeding transformer. Experience shows that the self-resonant frequency of this circuit is typically between 250 and 500 Hz, i.e. in the region of the 5th and 7th harmonics. Typical loads requiring harmonic filtering include 6 pulse drives (AC / DC), 3 phase UPS, frequency converters.
With L&Ts active harmonic filters, reduce your THD levels to within IEEE/CEA limits. These filters are IGBT-based power converters. This filter injects negative of the harmonic current resulting in practically no harmonic distortion. Phase balancing and power factor correction is also achieved.
Features :-Detuned harmonic filters are the series combination of a reactor and power capacitor. This filter offers higher impedance for high frequency harmonics. This prevents harmonic resonance and amplification.

With the thyristor module, we provide the main component - "The Electronic Switch"- for dynamic power factor correction. The LT-TSM series offers fast electronically controlled, self-observing thyristor switches for capacitive loads up to 50 kVAr, that are capable to switch PFC capacitors within a few milliseconds nearly without a limitation to the number of switchings during the capacitor lifetime. These switching modules are easy to install, have a fast reaction time of 5 msec and come with built-in indications of operations, faults and activation. These thyristor modules are very compact and operate at lower power losses.
L&Ts range of capacitor duty Contactors is specially designed for capacitor switching applications. As capacitor switching is associated with high inrush current, the contactors are provided with damping resistors which limit the value of inrush current to a safe value. The contactors are used in APFC panels for switching power capacitors. Selection of these capacitors depends on the amount of reactive power compensation required.

The etaCON series of digital power factor correction controllers automatically corrects the power factor, with the help of contactors for the connection and disconnection of capacitor banks. L&T offers a wide etaCON range: 3, 5, 7, 8 and 12-step versions. etaCON ensures balanced capacitor usage by intelligent adjustment interface based on the number of switching operations and the connection time of each step, thus ensuring long life for switchgear and capacitors.
In an endeavor to bring light to areas facing perpetual power shortages, L&T has developed a unique solar-powered portable lantern D.VA popularly referred to as Diva, which is capable of emitting uninterrupted light for up to 10 hours at maximum brightness and as much as 40 hours in night mode, when fully charged. Conceived indigenously by the design team of L&T Electrical and Automation, this rechargeable off-the-grid innovative device offers several significant advantages over conventional solar lanterns.
D.VA can be charged through dual modes. Users can either harness sunlight and charge the device through solar panels of 5W rating, or use a regular mains (AC supply) charging adaptor in low or no sunlight conditions. Life span of the solar panels typically ranges between 20 and 25 years, while its high bright LEDs have rated life of up to 50, 000 hours.
Even with a power consumption as low as 2W, the uniquely designed metalized reflector of D.VA produces an output equivalent to a traditional 25W incandescent bulb or a 5W CFL. Also, its 360-degree uniform illumination is glare free and soothing to the eyes.
It is also equipped with salient features such as mobile charging and smart 4 LED battery status indicator.

Reactive power manager is designed for automatic control of capacitor banks in 3 phase 4 wire LT distribution systems. The relay maintains the system power factor at a set value, under fluctuating load conditions, by connecting or disconnecting capacitor banks to the 415V bus.
