SIGT was established initially as a precision products company, manufacturing grinders and tools. This enabled the unit to be baptized in a culture of quality of high standards which the company has maintained for more than three decades. Through the inescapable diversifications that followed, SIGT has emerged as a multi-product manufacturer encompassing systems, sub systems and precision components for several leading Indian OEMs and major public sector giants, in India, SIGT has been undertaking not only Design Development and Manufacture of niche products, but also has been entrusted with installation and commissioning of systems and equipment in the premises of the users including those of the defense services. In fact, due to the enhanced trust quotient, the company has been entrusted with Annual Maintenance responsibilities for not only the company products but also for products ex-import, by some of the industrial majors in the country. SIGT has been entrusted with Development and Manufacture of a large number of precision components to meet export demands and has been executing such assignments successfully for sustained periods.
