The brakes of the TEXU series are double operating disc brakes which work according to the precept of a conventional drum brake. The braking force will be transmitted to the brake disc on two symmetrically points. Consequently the tangential forces at the shaft are compensated.. The specialty of this brake is the actuating of both calipers with 2 parallel mounted spring tubes in relation with only one concentrically mounted thruster.

Caliper Brakes type SHI are used as holding and emergency stop brake, installed on output shaft connected drive components such as the flange of hoist rope drums or the idler pulley of a conveyor belt. They serve to protect the drive e.g. in case of gear box failure.

This robust model was particularly designed for use in general engineering, metallurgy, crane and conveyor plants, for use both underground and above ground, as well as in wind turbine plants. These brakes are for use whenever a constant brake torque is of utmost importance, not only for reasons of safety but also from a commercial standpoint.

Couplings for connection of motor and gearbox input-shaft, optionally fitted with brake disc or brake drum, suitable for compensation of axial, radial and angular displacement of shafts. For the following standardized products we offer tolerance bores, keyway-broaching and dynamic balancing as well as special designs as per your individual requirements.

Our production portfolio includes separate wheels of diameter 315 to 1000 mm as well as complete wheel assemblies similar to DIN, as per customer drawing or as design proposal approved by our customer. SIBRE standard wheels are made of forged cylinders of material 42CrMo4V.
