Channel Logger DAQ Module

8040 128-Channel Logger/DAQ Module

The 8040 is a versatile solution for many data acquisition requirements with 512Kbyte memory for up to 128 channels. From basic data logging to monitoring requirements, communications and software tools make the 8040 more than just a recording device.

Enhanced Modularity

8040 is available in two versions, a half 19" rack module and full 19" rack module. It is expandable up to 48 and 96 channels respectively through the use of 8-Channel plug-in modules accepting universal inputs. Parameters of these modules can be monitored, configured and calibrated using local operator terminal or mACplus software remotely.

Logging and Communication

Data logger enables user to log and monitor process data with time-stamp. Input channel number can be selected for logging and printing for specified time interval from operator terminal keys or using Masibus mACplus software. Print on demand facility is also available. Data logger can also be interfaced with SCADA/PLC using RS485 port.

Measurement and Alarm

8040 provides accurate and high-speed measurement with scanning speed of upto 112 channels/Sec. 8-channels DO module provides alarm signal to annunciate abnormal process condition. 4 alarm levels per channel can be configured.

Masibus MINT Field Interface Module

Masibus MINT DI-16 is a member of MINT IO series which is the most cost effective Field Interface modules for Smart Systems whether it is DAS, SCADA, PLC or DCS

The MINT DI-16 has 16 Digital Inputs with counter to accept 1 KHz input. It has two RS485 ports with Multi-drop communication facility. It is powered by 24VDC supply.

MINT CP Module

The MINT CP is a Communication Processor which connects MINT-IOs and Serial Modbus-RTU Devices to a Modnet Ethernet Network.

MINTPLUS configuration Software is available to configure the MINT CP fully with IP address, subnet mask, Modnet parameters and Serial Modbus master parameters.

The master device which is polling the IO-modules must be configured with IP address and Modnet Parameters of CP Module.

Scanner DAQ Module

85XX+ Scanner/DAQ Module

The 85XX+ is an upgrade on the most successful model 85XX; additional capabilities have been added by way of multi-serial ports, Ethernet port, scanning speed and alphanumeric display.

Modular and Expandable

85XX+ is modular in architecture and Expandable, 5 I/O slots can accommodate a mix of Analog Input, Open collector output or Relay output to suit different applications in Power, water and Infrastructure industries. All field inputs are wired by Pre-Fab cables direct into panel terminals.

Configuration

85XX+ is configured using the software which is very user friendly; the unit can also be edited by front keyboard and display. The unit has numeric and alpha-numeric displays for value and tag display, Alarm/Trip and control status are displayed by discrete LEDs on front fascia.

Communication

85XX+ comes with one RS485 port as a standard, a second RS485 port or a Ethernet Port are options to enhance the communication capabilities of the unit and use it as an RTU, Alarm controller or protection device for motors, transformers, etc

Control or Alarm

The 8 Relay outputs can be freely mapped to any channel set points and configured as Alarm or Trip functionality with Fail-Safe or Normal Logic. The 24 OC outputs can be used as On/Off control output for individual channel or as a status output for Alarm condition.

The 8208 is succeeding the most popular range of 85XX scanners. It offers the host of features in compact 1/4 DIN size for multi-channel process monitoring with advanced functions and simple programming.

8208 has excellent software configurability for 8 channels accepting universal input and 4 relays to serve diverse applications. User has facility to program individual alarm, trip set-points and logic individually or group wise. Channels can be configured up to 4 groups with two relay outputs per group. Two discrete LEDs are provided per channel and one LED per relay for indication.

Modbus I O Module MAS

8-Channel Modbus I/O Module - MAS-AI-U-8-M

Masibus is a low-cost 8-Channel Modbus based remote IO unit in DIN rail mounting, which provides an easy way for integrating analog signals to supervisory SCADA/PLC/DAS systems. There are several inputs which this model accepts as an input like mA, V, RTD, Thermocouple, etc. Modbus IO module measures all field signals with accuracy of 0.1% of FS.

Modbus IO module has high speed scanning rate of 125msec/Channel. This module is powered by 24VDC auxiliary supply and power consumption is limited to 3Watt maximum. This module provides isolation between channel to channel and between all input signals and power thus protecting the connected instrument by eliminating ground loop effects. This reduces substantially the undesirable interferences and instabilities in measurements from sensor.

Modbus IO can be easily configured, calibrated and diagnosed via the digital interface by using the Windows based Masibus mAIM free software. It automatically detects active devices in the Modbus network and permits configuration of all parameters. Modbus IO configuration is done via the RS485 interface by using Modbus-RTU commands.
