PVC Plastisols
Both plasticiser and fillers can contribute to unacceptable moisture levels in plastisol which can lead to a variety of problems in automotive underseals, sealants and mastics, sound deadening compounds, fabric coating, carpet backing and foamed products.The use of Anti Moisture Powder for Plastic prevents corrosion of plastisol-coated metal parts, improves adhesion to metal and other substrates in foamed products.
Use of Polyolefin Compounds
Most fillers within Polyolefin compounds contains some moisture and this can cause porosity in compounds where there is high filler levels present (>25%). The use of Anti Moisture Powder for Plastic reduces porosity by the reaction with any moisture present.
Use of Hydroscopic Polymers
