Reliance Petcoke

Petcoke is one of the highly efficient fuel product readily available in India from various refineries around the India. Petcoke is developed by thermal cracking of vacuum residue, produced from crude oil.

Reliance is one of the major petcoke provider in India. Reliance provides petcoke from its Jamnagar refinery. The Jamnagar manufacturing division of Reliance is the worlds largest refining hub.

Petcoke from Jamnagar refinery of Reliance is exported to several countries across the world.

Reliance also has another refinery the sixth largest in the world in the Special Economic Zone at Jamnagar. This refinery has a capacity for processing 580, 000 BPD of crude. Reliance proivides SEZ Petcoke from this refinery. This petcoke is also of Grade A quality.

Essar Petcoke

Essar also has its refinery in Jamnagar and Essar provides high quality Petcoke from its Jamnagar refinery. Petcoke (petroleum coke) is a bottom of the barrel product. It is a dark solid made of relatively pure carbon. It is produced at the delayed coker unit (DCU) in the refinery.
