Plate and Frame Type Filter Presses:This type of press consists of 2 plates and 1 frame to from one units.THe liquid to be filtered is pumped into the press through the side feed holes in the frame passes through the filter cloth to the filter plates and gets out of the per cock(taps) filtered at the bottom of the filter Plate.The precipitate gets collected in the frames in large quantity.Super Balaji filter presses consist of skeleton of two and support connect by two horizontal parallel supporting plates which support to plates and frames.

Tightening Arrangement:Hard Operated Tightening Arrangements with screw or gear ratched system for tightening(As per the need) is provided to tighten the presses to get maximum filtration capacity and continuous process.To minimize the moisture in the cake (precipitate) steam or dry air can be blown in through the pressure vessel fitted with pressure. Gauge fitted at the first feed hole.The working pressure of all the filter presses is up to 5 kg/square cm.whereas all the presses are checked and tested up to the pressure of 100 pounds.
