Oil Mill

Vegetable oils can be extracted from oil seeds like Peanut, Soybean, Sesame, Rapeseed, Sunflower, Palm & Palm kernel, Mustard, Cotton seeds, Coconut, Camelina and Castor Seeds. Oil extraction can be done by mechanical screw pressing of the oil seeds and this equipment called Expeller. Oil seeds are complex mixture of protein, fiber and triglycerides of fatty acids and extract out these triglycerides from its remaining portion is quite simple but requires some attentions. All oil seeds needs to be pretreated prior to expelling into Expellers in order to extract out oil quite easily with minimum energy requirements. We supply complete set of such unit with pretreatment unit comprises of seed Decorticator/cracker/cutter, Steam cooker with Expeller. Extracted crude oil requires piston pump to transfer and Filter Press to removed solids from crude oil which we supply with Oil Mill machineries. Oil mill capacities ranges from 1 Ton per day up to 1, 000 Tons per day and we can supply complete set-up of any capacity required.

Oil seed pretreatment set up varies for specific oil seeds although all must go through seed cleaning and heat treatments prior to crushing. Generally, these are some equipments required for pretreatment for various oil seeds, Expelling and handling crude oils.

  1. Seed Cracker required for Sunflower/Mustard/Rapeseeds
  2. Decorticator for Peanut

Usually small scale Soap manufacturing set up requires following Operations to produce Laundry and Toilet Soaps.

1. Saponification of Oils and/or Fatty Acids

Soap is Saponified mass of triglycerides or Fatty Acids by means of Caustic. Various Fatty Acids and/or Palm oils can be mixed based on desired soap quality into Saponification vessel. Under constant stirring by means of crutches and under hot condition, caustic solution can be added to mixture of oils and after complete saponifaction reaction, it will become think mass called soap. Usually this constant stirring and boiling lasts about 8 hours to complete the saponifaction reaction.

2. Drying of Saponified Mass

Saponified mass contains high percentages of moisture which can be removed by placing mass into small boxes and places in an oven for about 24 hours.

3. Chipping

Further drying of these big blocks of soaps requires to cut into small pieces and place into an oven which reduces the moisture content to desired level.

4. Mixing with Sigma Mixer

Mixing of soap noodles or soap chips with perfumes, color and other ingredients is very crucial to produce consistence quality soap. Our mixer has two Z shaped shafts made of stainless steel and both shafts can be rotate at different speeds to facilitates efficient mixing.

5. Plodder

Plodder screw takes the mixed soap from hopper and presses the soap as it passes through the plate and produces long blocks of soap.

6. Soap cutting

It cut the soap into required sizes and shapes.

7. Triple Roller Process

It require in Toilet soap manufacturing to make soap flakes from homogeneously mixed ingredients.

8. Duplex Vacuum Plodder

Soap flakes fed into Vacuum Plodder to remove void space and trap air and gives desired shape.

9. Stamping of Soap Bar

The Soap is pressed by stamping machine to make impression of brand name onto it. Then, it finally goes to packaging and storage.

Essential Oil Extraction Plant

Essential oil can be extracted by steam distillation. As the feedstock contain very less percentages of such oil, it could be very difficult or not possible to extract by mechanical pressing. Our plant set up can able to process following feedstocks in order to extract their oils.

Cedarwood and Western Red CedarCumin SeedsPalmRosaPalo Santo and other feedstocks which can be processed through steam distillation.

Usually, this is a batch process and steam can be applied at moderate pressure into extraction vessel and then discharged from the top of the vessel. These condensed water-oil mixture can easily be separated by gravity separator.

We also provide continuous extraction plant where large feedstock needs to be process.
