XPS BOARD is an Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) rigid board used for thermal insulation. It is produced from general purpose polystyrene by the process of extrusion. These extruded sheets have a closed-cell structure and virtually no air-voids in between the cells. Globally XPS has been widely used for thermal insulation since the last 40 years. It is acknowledged to be one of the best 'value-for-money' thermal insulation materials. In India XPS is manufactured by Supreme Petrochem Ltd (SPL) as INSUboard at India's first integrated ultra-modern manufacturing facility at Nagothane, Maharashtra. This eco-friendly plant has an annual production capacity of 150, 000 m3 and is part of the 333 acre styrenics complex of Supreme Petrochem Ltd.

Shalitex Expansion Joint Board is cane fiber soft board impregnated with Special Grade of Bitumen. It is a perfect base material for expansion joint filers. The board's compression and recovery characteristics conform to the U.K., U.S.A. and Indian Standards much above the required averages. Shalitex Expansion Joint Board displays excellent resistance to compression, with outstanding recovery characteristics. The boards are environment friendly as opposed to the environment destroying thermos Cole/plastic expansion joint boards.

Shali Plus 20 is a polymeric waterproofing membrane. It has a center core of 20 micron High Molecular High Density Polyethylene (HMHDPE) film coated on both sides with Polymer Modified Bitumen, which is protected by a thermo fusible film. The HMHDPE Film is the reinforcement barrier against water and moisture. The polymeric membrane has an elongation exceeding 300% to absorb all structural movements and has a very high tensile strength and cold flexibility to adapt to all contours.

Shali Plus 20 is also available with 40 micron aluminum topping on the top side to prevent disintegration of bitumen and provide UV protection

Super Thermolay is a uniquely formulated prefabricated waterproofing Membrane with a special multilayered design, with superiorpliability, tensile strength, workability and resistance to the elements. This combination gives the proven waterproofing qualities of bitumen plasticity, excellent resistance to heat, aging and weathering, and ease of application by torch welding. The multilayered design consists of a 160 gsm polyester core coated on both sides with APP (atactic polypropylene) modified bitumen and finally finished with thermofusible polyethylene film. The polyester core gives the membrane high tensile strength, elongation and superior lap joint strength.

TarFelt LM is a single component, water based elastomeric polymerized bituminous emulsion with selected graded fine fillers and some additives TarFelt LM is applied by brush / roller without any use of heat. TarFelt LM forms a tough, elastomeric, monolithic, seamless water proofing membrane. For non-trafficable roofs, TarFelt LM may be coated with SuperSilverShield (aluminium finish) or with ShaliCryl 215 providing desired colours for aesthetic look or simply by sprinkling sand. For Trafficable roofs / areas, TarFelt LM shall be protected with screed / tiles / china mosaic. TarFelt LM +, in addition to properties of TarFelt LM, provides insulation.

Recommended for sticking roofing felts on metal, timber, tiles, asbestos, concrete and masonry surfaces, including roofs of trains, buses, tramcars, railway carriages, etc.

ShaliBond BS/CS is cold applied adhesive and does not require any torching. Therefore, it is useful for applications where use of hot bitumen / torching is difficult or prohibited.

• Fully plugging gaps in tiles caused by sagging of battens or otherwise in case of tiled roofs.
• Filling minor cracks/gaps in terraced roofs or other locations

SuperSilverShield is an anti-corrosive, water proofing paint with aluminum finish, It is composed of oxidized bitumen, volatile solvents and specially formulated aluminum compound.

SuperSilverShield is used as a protective coating on iron, steel, masonry and other surfaces. It is used to reflect UV rays and protect bituminous waterproofing felts and fabrics, while giving a visually pleasing finish. It covers, in normal conditions.

ShaliTex Primer is a solvent based bituminous primer that seals pores in surfaces such as concrete and improves the adhesion of bituminous materials that are to be applied to the substrate. It is suitable for brush or spray application. It conforms to the requirement of IS: 3384-1986.

Application Methodology

TheAPP membrane, short for Atactic PolypropyleneMembrane, is a special waterproofing material that is manufactured from Bitumen. They come in rolls. . It is a common waterproofing material used on concrete flat roofs (which are still roofs) or roofs with a low pitch.

ShaliTex Sealing Compound is bitumen based sealant for concrete joints resistant to high temperature variations providing waterproof sealing for all type of horizontal joints. It is conforming to IS 1834 1984, Grade A specification.

ShaliJet Sealing Compound is thermoplastic material. It flows in hot condition and settles to a plasto-elastic mass when cold. Being fuel / heat resistant, ShaliJet Sealing Compound is used as sealant in construction of runways.

the penetration grade bitumen 60/70 has a thermoplastic property which is like as synthetic resin material which gets softer with heating and hardens when cooled.
