We supply accurately formulated Mr Aquastop. We are counted among the major Manufacturers and Suppliers of Waterproffing System by the name of Mr Aquastop. The product is a multi Coat Polymeric Water Proofing System based on TPI (Thermosetting Polymer Impregnation) technology for stopping the existing leaking RCC Floor of Terraces, Kitchens, Toilets and other water prone areas. Mr Aquastop consists of :A - Aqua Crack Fill PackB - Aqua Impregnate PackC - Aqua Protector Pack 1D - Aqua Protector Pack 2Construction of RCC building in brief :The Reinforced Cement Concrete (abbreviated as RCC) buildings mainly consist ofRoofing of RCC slabSide Walls of RCC or Brick structureThe RCC is prepared by using Cement, Sand and GritGravel mixture with steel as reinforcement. The side walls are normally made of Brick Structure, bricks being joint using cementsand mixture and further plastered from the exteriors as well as interiors using cement and sand mixture to protect the brick structure and to make the surface plane to make them suitable for painting etc. The dry Cement and Sand mixture in case of Plaster and Cement, Sand and GritGravel mixture in case of RCC are properly wet with water to bring the dry mixtures in applicable consistency and then either the plaster is applied or RCC is casted. The role of water is not only as a carrier to convert the dry mixture in to an applicable consistency but also to initiate curing of Cement by hydration. The water to cement ratio during the process is very critical and plays vital role in the strength and other properties of RCC as well as Plaster. Moreover, other precautions are also required to be taken such as use of vibrator in case of RCC after casting the RCC, watering the RCC as well as Plaster for 7 to 10 days after 24 hrs of natural curing etc. to get the maximum strength and prevention of crack formation etc. Some of the reasons of crack formation :However, in practice, when the construction is going on, the above norms are not strictly followed. For instance, during the casting of RCC, if less amount of water is added than required, as the case while casting slopping slab to make the mortar thick and non flow able to prevent it from getting rolled down, big voids and cracks are formed inside the casting. Similarly, if more water is added to enable the mortar to level out easily by the worker on a plane slab, there are chances to generate voids, hair cracks and even bigger cracks in the RCC, as the excess water take much time to leave from the RCC by which time, the RCC loses its mobility. Also, when water leaves the system, it naturally leaves voids, black holes, etc. due to immobile nature of cement base mixtures. Thus, water which is important to make strong RCC and Plaster structure, if used in an adequate quantity, sometimes become a cause of water seepage if used in either in an inadequate quantity or in an excess quantity. Cracks are also developed in a building between RCC structure and Brick structure, as RCC does not have true adhesion with Cement base material, and there are many such joints in a building, which are unavoidable and open up later on complete drying causing water seepages. Due to large variation in temperature, steel reinforcement undergoes expansion and contraction, which also generates cracks in a building. At higher temperature, in cementsand plaster hair cracks to sizeable cracks develop due to overheating. In water prone areas such as toilets, bathrooms and kitchen, water seepage problems arise because of many reasons such as:Opening of tiles joints due to acid washBreakage in concealed water pipe lines, Wash Basin pipe lines etc.Improper joint fitting of NT (small trap), commodes joints or other water pipe line connecting systemsImproper workmanship, inferior quality of inputs such as Cement, Sand, Grit, Gravel, Water, Steel etc. is also one of the key factors in the formation of porous RCC or Plaster. Thus, there are many reasons, because of which the water seepage takes place in a Building. Disadvantages of water seepage in a Building :The leaking water causes following problems in a Building. The entrained water inside the RCC gets expanded due to sun heat which over a period damages the structureThe entrained water also corrodes steel reinforcement. Corrosion being a continuous process weakens the steel due to reduction in weight. If the process is not arrested in time by proper water proofing system, then the weakened steel reinforcement looses adhesion with the RCC and deteriorated RCC falls in lumps, calling for heavy expenditure in repairsThe damp surface becomes source of fungus and bacterial development creating hygienic problems to the residentsThe dampness also causes the costly paint to peel offWater Proofing of leaking RCC by Mr Aquastop System through TPI Technology :To avoid the above stated problems, water proofing of all the buildings is essential. Water Proofing is normally done by various ways, however, the most conventional way today is a membrane technology, where jutepolyethylene reinforced Tar Felt system is applied over the leaking area or a coating of high molecular weight water base Thermo Plastic polymers such as SBR latex or Acrylic emulsion is applied. Alternatively organo silane material or silicone base water thin able products are used as a water repellent coating. In case of membrane technology, when the coating gets ruptured due to some force or friction or prolonged effect of UV rays, water enters in to it and leakage is retained. At that time, entire membrane or coating is required to be removed completely to resume the water proofing of the leakage surface. The benefits of Mr Aquastop :Mr Aquastop is a Four Pack water base water proofing system. This four pack water base system is based on Thermosetting Polymer Impregnation technology, which again is based on water thin able low molecular weight thermosetting polymers (nano polymers) capable to enter in to voids and hair cracks of the RCC responsible for the leakage having excellent bonding with the RCC and outstanding exterior durability. Following is how the conventional water proofing system based on membrane technology (System 1) differs from our TPI technology based water proofing system (System 2). System 1Single Pack Thermo Plastic Polymer base.No chemical reaction takes place. On drying the Polymer forms a tough film but still remains in its original form. Thus there is a possibility of such polymer to swell and to regain partial water solubility under extreme conditions. The high molecular weight polymer forms a superficial film but can not enter in to voids and hair cracks. The polymer being single pack can be used any time.System 2Two Pack Thermo setting Polymer base. The two packs are mixed with each other to form complex macro polymer having superior Adhesion, Strength etc. and are not affected by water. The two pack thermosetting polymers are low molecular weight Polymers and remain in low molecular weight for at least 25 to 30 minutes after the two components are mixed for application, during which period the mixture is capable of entering in to voids and hair cracks. After the breathing period of 30 minutes, the two components due to reaction start turning in to formation of macro molecule. The mixed components are required to be utilized in 30 minutes.
