Ledger Blades

Shield, the leading manufacturers of Ledger Blade in single segment upto 5000mm long made from specially selected high alloy steel for textile mills. For proper heat treatment of these blades, we have Modern Heat Treatment plant of latest german technology to make the blades with a regular and uniform hardness of 62-64 HRC. Grinding of the blades is done on highly sophisticated world class machines. The specially selected raw material of high quality alloy steel guarantees long life of the blades and is ideal for shearing fabrics made from polyprolene, polytster and nylon which are very abrasive and rapidly deteriorate the cutting edge of the traditional ledger blades. Ledger Blades are available with hardness 62-64 HRC made of high alloy steel having thickness 3mm to 5 mm, width from 80mm to 150mm with or without slotes as per customer's requirement.

Bottom Knives Paper Mills Blades

These type of knives are available exstock in most of the sizes. Superior heat treatment, selection of material & accurate grinding assures of a top quality product. We also offer knives in accuracies of 1 micron, duly stablised & lapped on special purpose machines. Such blades are most suitable for slitting insulation tapes of up to 3 mm in width and our Bottom Knives are most suitable for slitting of jumbo Rolls of Audio & Video tapes.
