SAKOVA Primary Current Injection Set PIS-1000 is a high current supply unit, which is very easy to move about because of its convenient modular design. The primary injection set PIS-1000 is a compact instrument with a built-in ammeter, which meets the stringent requirements for accuracy, easy handling and performance.
FEATURES:
PIS-1000 comprises of two portable units viz. Control Unit and Current Unit with suitable terminals and metering, housed in painted M.S. Boxes which can be mounted on a foldable trolley for easy transportation.

Compact and portable. Contact Resistance Meter is meant for measurement of resistance of bus bar joints, male-female contacts of isolators, SF-6 Breaker contacts, GTS breaker contacts etc. of the sub-stations. The measurement of contact resistance is done by applying a DC current of 0-100 Amps. and measuring the voltage drop across the contacts. An ammeter and a millivoltmeter (Micro-ohmmeter) are provided measuring the current and resistance. A lamp indicates the AC supply position. A variac is provided for adjusting the output current from 0 to 100 amps. Fuse for protection against overload is incorporated. CRM Range: 0.1 micro-ohm to 19999 micro-ohm in two ranges.Input: 240 V ±10%, 50 Hz. ±5%.Output: 0-100 Amps., DC, continuously variable.
SAKOVA DC HV TEST SET has been designed to test the 11 KV & 33 KV cables, cable fittings, switchgears and high voltage installations. The desired DC voltages are applied to the system under test. The leakage current and the voltage applied are indicated by the meters, which help in determining the insulation resistance and dielectric strength of the system under test.

SAKOVA SAKOVA HIGH VOLTAGE BREAKDOWN TESTERS basically consist of a Double Wound High Voltage Transformer with the H.T. end brought out and terminated on a spring loaded prod for ratings up to 5 KV, or the H.T. end is brought out on a bushing. The lower end of the H.T. winding is at near earth potential and is also brought out, through intermediate circuitry and is terminated on the EARTH connection. The intermediate circuitry included at the lower end of thee H.T. winding enables tripping of supply to the H.T. Transformer, if the current through the test piece exceeds a predetermined value. The low voltage winding of the main HV Transformers rated for 230 Volts or as specified and is energized by means of a VARIAC through a fusee link and an intermediate contactor/relay. The provision of VARIAC enables gradual application of high voltage to the specimen under test. The Zero start interlock switch is provided.
Indicating Lamps are provided on the panel of the instruments to indicate MAINS ON and H.T. ON. A Voltmeter is provided on the panel to indicate the output high voltage. The voltmeter is connected on the low voltage side of the main transformer but is calibrated to read the H.T. Voltage directly. The calibration is carried out at no load. If the failure of the test piece occurs, the supply to the Voltmeter is maintained, although the supply to the HV Transformer is instantaneously cut-off. The voltmeter, therefore, indicates thee voltage at which the test piece has failed.
The testers of ratings up to 10 KV are housed in a single sheet metal housing while those of ratings above 10 KV comprise of control unit and a HV transformer unit made of sheet metal.
The Testers are available for output voltages up to 100 KV and different current ratings as desired.
Insulation failure is one of the most common causes of electrical break-down. Regular testing however will reveal insulation weakness at early stage before serious damage can occur. Preventive insulation testing of electrical rotating machines, power distribution lines, communication cables, insulators, control and switching equipment etc. is therefore essential to avoid eventual breakdown.
SAKOVA Megtester is a robust instrument incorporating a built-in hand driven generator and a solid state circuit for stabilized DC output. The insulation resistance measured is indicated on a logarithmic scale. SAKOVA Megtester meets the requirements of Indian Standard Specification IS: 2992-1980.

SAKOVA make Automatic Oil Test Set is designed for speedy and accurate testing of dielectric strength of circuit breakers oil and transformers oil in accordance with international standards like IEC-156, IS-6792 etc.
FEATURES:The set comprises of an HV transformer, motorized variac, a micro-processor controller and a printer housed in an M.S cabinet. The HV electrodes are housed in an insulated cubicle made of FRP with a hinged acrylic cover with interlocking for safety. The control panel and the printer are protected from dust and in transit damage by a removable hinged MS cover.
CONTROL PANEL:The following settable parameters are provided for the custom test.
The set comprises of the auto variable transformers, current transformer, contactor, automatic cut-off, electronic time interval meter, capacitor & resistors for phase shifting, operating switches and meters for output parameters, housed in a cabinet made of FRP. Suitable switches are provided for selection of voltage and current ranges and type of relay contacts viz. NC/NO. The output current and voltage are continuously variable. The output is automatically cut off as soon as relay under test operates. The time interval meter indicates the time taken by the "Relay under Test" to operate. Separate terminals are provided for output voltage & current ranges and relay connections. The toggle & push switches, indicators, voltmeter, ammeter and variac knobs are provided on the control panel. Sturdy carrying case is provided for easy transportation. The T.I. Meter can also be programmed to measure pick-up and dropout time of contactors, independently.

In all H.T. Transformers and Circuit Breakers etc. transformer oil or other insulant is a very important ingredient.The liquid insulant used should have a very high dielectric strength. To test the dielectric strength of the INSULANT, a very high voltage is passed through it. The failure of the dielectric strength of INSULANT is shown by a spark across two electrodes. The apparatus to carry out this test is manufactured by us in various voltage ranges and models, as per IS:6792/1972 and IEC-156, known as SAKOVA OIL TEST SET.
