elf Propelled Aircraft Starting Trolley

200Servel trolleys are operating in MIG21 Squadrons throughout the country.Prior to induction of this Trolley, MIG 21 Aircraft was started with Russian made APPA vehicle. This trolley developed first time successfully by the company is totally indigenous, self-propelled, giving 10 air-craft starts, using re-chargeable Ni-Cd batteries. These are in operation at 20 AF stations.

Self Propelled Air/ N2 trolley

It is a battery-propelled and battery-operated vehicle with a crane on board for loading/un-loading of 200 Kg. gas cylinder. It houses 4 gas (Air/N2) cylinders, interconnected to Pressure Regulator System on board. The Trolley has been so designed that all the operations, viz., loading/un-loading of gas cylinders, driving the Trolley to the air-craft, charging of the air-craft cylinders anywhere from 0 to 350 Kg/cm2 pressure can easily be handled by only one man. The Trolley replaces the single cylinder hand-carts/tractor-towable 4 cylinders platforms & trollies; and in doing so makes the entire operation very easy & fast. This Trolley is cost-effective, efficient, light-weight, air-transportable, reliable, easily operable by only one man, easily maintainable & wholly indigenous.

This was imported from M/s Collins, USA for MIG air-crafts. The 1:1 indigenous unit was successfully developed by the company & supplied at less than 1/4ththe imported price.

Digital Remote Controlled Desk is highly used by Air Field Lighting.Airfield lighting was earlier controlled from ATC using a 100 pairs cable for operating the entire airfield lighting. DRCD was developed first time indigenously by the company using Micro-processor based circuits and the entire operation is now controlled only by a single pair of wires. Further, the whole field lighting can be programmed on the console & locked thru a key. When required, just insert & turn on the key; & the whole field gets lighted as programmed.Features

Installed in MIG aircrafts. Indicates selected channel of Collins V/UHF R/T Sets.

In early 80s, MIG fleets were modified with Collins V/UHF communication equipment. However the pilots experienced difficulty in reading the communication channel on which they were operating. In order to remove this operational difficulty, Two Digit Channel Indicator was developed as an OHR item & type-approved at ALISDA in one go. It was manufactured & subsequently used by the Mig fleet of IAF.

This equipment is part of pilots helmet and was imported from USSR. Separated from the helmet, YK-9 was developed, type-approved successfully first time & supplied as a crash program within 11 months as 1:1 replacement. Type approval has been granted by CEMILAC.

We deals in three phase voltage stabilizer, This regulator employs a three phase variable transformer (3 nos. of single phase variable transformers mechanically coupled) driven by a single servo motor and three-phase series transformers. The Output voltage between R&Y phase is sensed and all the three phase output are corrected accordingly. These units are, therefore, suitable only for use with balanced 3-phase mains supply. If balanced mains supply cannot be ensured, TYPE SE 15-3U should be used.

Type SE 15-1

Single Phase Servo-Controlled Voltage Stabilizer. Suitable for use with single phase equipment.

Type SE 15-3U

Three-phase Servo-Controlled Voltage Stabilizer. Recommended for use with unbalanced input supply voltage and/or unbalanced loads.

It consists of three single phase units connected in star. Each unit has a motorized single phase variac and a series transformer. Voltage of each phase is independently sensed and corrected to the desired value.

These units are, therefore, suitable for use with unbalanced input supply voltages and unbalanced loads.

Type SE 15-3B

Three-phase Servo-Controlled Voltage Stabilizer. Recommended for use where 3-phase input supply and load are balanced i.e. all line voltages and currents are same.

This regulator employs a three phase variable transformer (3 nos. of single phase variable transformers mechanically coupled) driven by a single servo motor and three-phase series transformers. The Output voltage between R&Y phase is sensed and all the three phase output are corrected accordingly. These units are, therefore, suitable only for use with balanced 3-phase mains supply.
