Bamboo yarns are available in 100% or blended with cotton and other fibers in count range from NE 10s to Ne 40s as well as piled yarns for Weaving and Knitting use. Bamboo Yarn is made from 100% bamboo or blended bamboo with other fibers.
Bamboo have gained the popularity as a “Green” fiber.
End use of Bamboo Yarns:
High abrasion proof capacity Strong durability, stability & tenacity Round and smooth surface Anti-bacterial Excellent wet permeability, moisture vapor transmission property Strong durability, stability and tenacity Bio degradable Bamboo fiber is biodegradable textile material. As a natural cellulose fiber It can be 100% biodegraded in soil by microorganism and sunshine. The decomposition process doesn’t cause any pollution environment. “Bamboo fiber comes from nature, and completely returns to nature in the end”. Bamboo fiber is praised as “the natural, green, and Eco-friendly new-type textile material of 21st century”.
Conventionally grown cotton consumes approximately 25% of the insecticides and more than 10% of the pesticides used in the world. Conventional farming devours roughly a third of a pound of pesticides and fertilizers to produce enough cotton for a single T-shirt.
The production of cotton has a huge impact on the world you live in. There is, of course, an alternative: organic cotton. There are farmers who have been growing cotton without harmful chemicals for years. Their yield is high and the quality of the organic cotton they grow is equal to or better than conventionally grown cotton. Their methods support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, improve the quality of soil and often use less water.
Growing organically takes more time, requires more knowledge and skill, and, for now, costs more. But organic cotton's worth it. Cyarn supplies ecological friendly yarn-organic cotton yarn, to build a
Acrylic fibres are synthetic fibres made from a polymer Polyacrylonitrile. The polymer is formed by free-radical polymerization in aqueous suspension.
The fibre is produced by dissolving the polymer in a solvent such as NN-dimethylformamide or aqueous sodium thiocyanate, metering it through a multi-hole spinnerets and coagulating the resultant filaments in an aqueous solution of the same solvent (wet spinning) or evaporating the solvent in astream of heated inert gas (dry spinning). Washing, stretching, drying and crimping complete the processing.
Practically all acrylic fibres are produced in staple fibre from with lengths varying from 38 to 64 mm for the cotton system and 75 to 125 for worsted system. The deniers range from 1.2 to 3.0 for normal application and 5, 7 & 15 for special applications.
Acrylic is lightweight, soft, and warm, with a wool-like feel. It has excellent colourfastness. It is resilient, retains its shape, and resists shrinkage and wrinkles. Acrylic is used in clothing as an alternative to wool.
Cotton is a natural cellulosic fibre obtained from bushy perennial cotton plants. The cotton plant belongs to the species Gossipium.
The cotton plant grows and produces a number of pods (bolls) and on ripening, the cotton pods open which contain lot of seeds to which the cotton fibres are attached. This is called the Seed Cotton. The cotton fibres are separated from the seeds by the Ginning process. This is called the Lint Cotton. This Lint Cotton commonly referred as Cotton is sent to Spinning Mills to spin Cotton Yarn.
Fibre Length, Strength, Fineness (Micronaire value), Maturity, Colour and Uniformity are the important requirements for Fibre selection.Fibre Length, Fibre Strength, Microniare value and the type of yarn decide the Count range
Cotton is a very versatile fibre and is used in many textile and non-textile applications.China, India, USA, Brazil, Pakistan, Greece, Turkey& Uzbekistan are important cotton producing countries.Since Cotton cultivation requires a huge amount of Pesticides, Genetically Modified (GM) Cotton was developed to reduce the dependency of pesticides.Organic Cotton is produced without the use of insecticides & pesticides.
Flax is cellulosic bast fibre. Flax plant is a member of the genus Linum usitatissimum. Flax plants grow upto1.2 mtall with slender stems. Flax is grown for both its Flax Seeds and Flax Fibres. Flax fibres are recovered from the Plant by the retting & scotching process. Flax fibres are also called Linen fibres.Linen fibres generally have a length of 25 cms to 125 cms.
After the fibres have been separated and processed, they are spun into yarns and woven or knit into linen textiles. Generally textiles with linen-weave texture from cotton and other non-flax fibres are also called as linen.
Linen threads are used in stitching upholstery, life belts, tarpaulins. Linen fabrics are used in making costlyhandkerchiefs, arachutes, mail bags , table & bed-linen. Linen fabrics are used in bed & baths cloths, wall-coverings, oil painting, luggages, suits, canvas etc.
Jute is natural cellulosic fibre belonging to bast fibres group. Jutes belong to the family Tiliaceae. The two species are Corchorus capsularis and Corchorus olitorius. The strand of Jute fibres lie just beneath the bark of the Jute Plant. The plant is cut and the Jute fibres are removed from the plant by the retting process. Then the fibres are separated from one another by drying, softening & scotching. The colour varies from yellow to brown.
The fibre are coarse and the length ranges from 150 mm to 350 mm. India & Bangladesh are the major Jute producing countries.Jute is the second most important natural fibre nest to cotton and has a variety of usesJute fabrics are Hessian cloth and the Jute bags are called Gunny bags.
These are very much useful in packing & transporting. Jute is 100% bio-degradable & Eco-friendly. It is useful in industrial fabrics, nets, packaging, agriculture, floor covering, ropes, twines, geo-textiles & technical textiles.

Nylon is synthetic fibre generally called Polyamide fibres. Nylon 6 is produced from Caprolactam. Nylon 6, 6 is produced from Hexamethylene diamine& Adipic acid.
Nylon is a thermoplastic fibre, round, smooth, and shiny. Its cross sections can be either Trilobal or multilobal. Its most widely used structures are , monofilament, multi-filament, staple or tow and is available as partially drawn or asfinished filaments.
Regular nylon has a round cross section and is perfectly uniform. The filaments are generally completely transparent unless they have been delustered or solution dyed. Nylon is related chemically to the protein fibres silk and wool.
Nylon is used in carpets, apparel, clothing, bags, panty-hose, wind-cloths, air-bags, swim-wear, umbrella, slings, ropes, climbing gears, parachutes, balloons, tooth-brush bristle, etc.,
