The SAWAN’s Flow Tee is a specialized fitting that facilitates the passage of pipeline pigs past tee connections – where flow bypass often leaves pigs stranded without restricting product flow. The FLOW TEE is effective even for full-diameter branch openings. The key to the FLOW TEE is its radial flow design, which provides an inner sleeve to direct the pig through the primary line, past the branch. Flow holes in the sleeve and the annular cavity provide a flow area at least equal to the flow area of the branch line, permitting full product flow through the tee during normal operations. Flow Tees can be supplied for all pipeline sizes, with any size of reducing branch, and to meet any ANSI rating or have the same pressure rating as the host pipeline. FLOW TEE can also be provided with flanged end connections.

Split tee will be designed base on ANSI / ASME, with design factor 0.4, 0.5 and 0.72. All mechanical calculation for pressure parts under internal pressure or external forces and fabrication drawings which prepared base on Clients Technical Specifications will be prepared and forwarded to client for approval. Barred tees are used in a pig launcher / receiver system and / or at branches in the pipeline to ensure the safe passage of a pig or sphere past the open branch area. To complement our range of pigs and spheres pipeline engineering has the in-house engineering, manufacturing and testing capacity to produce piggable pipeline barred tees.
Piggable barred tees incorporate simple bar sections welded across the pipeline tee branch to allow a pig to negotiate the branch opening. Piggable tees are manufactured to specific customer project specifications and International pressure vessel and piping codes such as ASME, PD5500.
Our capacity ranges from 2" to 72", ANSI Ratings 150 to 2500 and API, using carbon, stainless and alloy steel materials.
Barred Tees can be supplied for all pipeline sizes, with any size of reducing branch, and to meet any ANSI rating or have the same pressure rating as the host pipeline. Barred Tees can also be provided with flanged end connections.
