A chrome plated steel bar 100 x 3.75cms chromium plated bored at equal intervals of 50mm and provided with removable knife edge. Complete with wall bracket.
Evacuated glass bulb of approx. 70mm dia having fine pivot at its centre which supports four light weight vane of mica 10 mm square approximately and blackened on one surface. Mounted on a bakelite stand. When exposed to sunlight or bright lamp the rotor rotates rapidly.
For measurement of small quantities of electrical charge. Reflecting mirror type model. The moving coil is suspended by a phosphor-bronze strip, which carries an optically true concave mirror. The coil can be raised or lowered or set to zero by an adjusting knurled knob at the top. A knob at the back is provided for clamping and releasing the coil. A link high resistance is provided to make the Galvanometer periodic, if desired. Levelling screws are provided for balancing the coil.
For determining the upper fixed point of thermometers and boiling points at Barometer pressure other than atmospheric. Comprising an upper boiling vessel with a steam jacketed inner tube. A lid with a tubule is provided which holds the thermometer under test in a bung. A side outlet draining tube and a glass manometric tube mounted in tubular with rubber bung, overall size 300 x 100mm.
Construction is same as above but having two bulbs with 2 sets of vane, when exposed to sunlight the vanes rotate in opposite directions.
A plastic disc 16cms dia in wooden base, a brass nickel plated 100mm dia plate with ebonite handle and a small brass contact sphere.
Spherical pattern, adjusted light blown neutral glass with flat bottom and perforated stopper.
For producing an electrostatic charge by rubbing with fur, etc. Both ends closed and rounded.
