Over the years, we have developed the infrastructure required to manufacture Porous Plastic Rods of any shape and size. We are the only sintered porous plastic filter rod manufacturer in India that makes 1, 000 mm long filter elements and has supplied them worldwide. Further, if required, we can provide external or self-threading facilities to our filter elements.We provide 100% chemically inert Porous Plastic Filter Rods, to be used in cases when the chemicals involved may react with the plastic rod; our chemically inert porous plastic rods are predominantly used in Water Filters, Biomedical Pipettes, Air Fresheners, Emitters, Fragrance Releasing Wicks and Biomedical Wicks.We are recognized as India’s leading manufacturer and supplier of sintered porous plastic filter rods and similar filter elements, which are used in various fields. Wicking (or capillary action) can be defined as the process by which liquids flow through narrow spaces without the assistance of, or sometimes even in opposition to, external forces like gravity.
We manufacture state-of-the-art sintered porous plastic fragrance releasing wicks which absorb the required liquid and emits the fragrance at a steady rate. These sintered fragrance releasing wicks can be custom-made to fit into any device or contraption as per the customer’s requirements.
Our Fragrance Releasing Wicks are strategically designed to operate at maximum efficiency, causing zero loss of liquid during the process. Further, our products are 100% chemically inert and do not react with any chemical that they may come in contact with.
Over the last 5-7 years, we have observed a growing requirement of our Fragrance Releasing Wicks in the national as well as international market, prominently in Europe, China and Japan; becoming the leading sintered porous plastic fragrance releasing wicks manufacturer in India.
At Sansuk Industries, we have developed in-house techniques to perfect the art of manufacturing Fragrance Releasing Wicks, to produce filter elements which move a liquid fragrance uniformly through our product without the requirement of any external force. To ensure highest quality of our porous plastic wicks, we use imported polymers Polystyrene, Polyethylene, Polypropylene and other Ultra High Density High Molecular Weight Polymers.
As per the specific application, we can provide specially designed porous plastic PP rods or porous plastic PP discs for wicking purposes.Our specialty lies in customizing our products as per the customer’s requirements.

We provide porous plastic discs to filter out solid impurities that may have entered a dropper.
Droppers are used to put medicinal liquids into the bodies of humans and animals; while using these droppers one must be careful to not pass on any solid impurities from the dropper into the bodies of humans or animals. Thus, the mouths of these droppers are fitted with porous plastic filter discs to prevent the passage of solid impurities which may have accidently entered into the droppers.
The micron rating, porosity and pore size of the filter disc can be adjusted to let only a required, limited amount of liquid pass through the dropper (drop by drop).
Our Filters for Droppers are 100% inert and will not react with any liquid / chemical that is put into the dropper. We only use international medical grade polypropylene (PP discs), polyethylene (PS Discs) or polystyrene (PE Discs or UHM Discs) for our porous plastic products for filtration for biomedical purposes.
Our world-class infrastructure gives us the ability to manufacture these products in bulk and sell them at a relatively low price. We started supplying our filters for biomedical processes over a decade ago to a few pathology labs and health care institutes. Now we successfully provide Filters for Droppers to a large clientele in Mumbai, Pune, Surat, Vapi, Ahmadabad, Gujarat and Karnataka. We also have international clientele located in Asia, Europe and Africa.
