Advance filtration systemsare pressure-driven membrane operations that use porous membrane for the removal of dissolved, colloidal material and large molecules, with pores of 0.001 to 0.1 micron. These systems differ from reverse Osmosis Systems by relatively low driving pressures, usually under 1034 kN/m2. Turbidity is sgarply reduced by 99+%.
