Sana Import & Export was conceptualized and established by Mr. Nazir Athania in 1993, and it has consistently grown from strength to strength in undertaking Basic and Detailed Engineering in all fields of Engineering & Import/Export trade ever since.
During the initial few years, the company's vision was limited to the export of textiles and readymade garments to the Middle East and Parts of Africa . It later began to explore different industries as an Export House practicing professional Chartered Engineers who had achieved considerable experience in relevant fields, in India, Japan, UAE & Germany. Right from concept, SI&E'S received excellent appreciation and acceptance by Indian and some Foreign Industries enabling us to build up an enviable track record .We also began trading in liquid/industrial gases, related equipment, pressure vessels, and cryogenic containers as well.
As the company prospered and began to grow rapidly with each year, it's vision also grew in leaps and bounds. After acquiring a fair amount of experience, the company broadened its range of interests to the import and export of various fine chemicals, organic/inorganic chemicals, and dye intermediates through various dyes and plants.
Another venture that has been instrumental in the business's growth is the manufacture of industrial valves and their accessories, and the trade of edible oils, clarified butter (ghee), rice, spices, mango pulp and diamonds.
The company continues to flourish under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Athania, through his vision and the sheer hardwork and determination of his employees.
MILESTONES
Established a niche in import/export trade in the financial hub of India, Mumbai, in 1993
Pioneered the export of liquid argon (in cryogenic tanks), gases (such as ethylene oxide, anhydrous ammonia, liquid chlorine), and specialized gases from India
Successfully exported a full liquor ammonia plant / D.A. plant 100 M3/Hr. to the U.A.E. with excellent results.
Initiated the export of iron ore and its supply to local companies and sponge iron plants (GSPL, Jain Udyog etc.) in Goa
