HYDROCHEM 7008 is a quaternary cationic polymer which is a specialized product for decoloring, flocculating, COD decreasing and other applications.

PHOSCLEAN 102 is a powdered caustic free alkaline cleaner used for dip degreasing of steel, zinc

and aluminium articles.

Range :

• Hard Temp H 402 : A carburising salt containing sodium cyanide and suitable activating agent. The carburising salt is capable of carburising mild steel and alloy case hardening steel upto depth of 2.5 mm. Working Range : 760° to 950° C
• Hard Temp F 750 : A salt specially developed for hardening high carbon steel files and medium or low carbon steel rasps. Slight decarburisation on the surfaces of the files can be removed by hardening in Hard Temp F 750. Working Range: 750° to 850° C.
• Hard Temp CN2 : A regenerator salt used in Hard Temp CN4 bath.
• Hard Temp CN4 : A specially designed base salt for nitriding of carbon steels, high speed steels and other type of alloy steels. Hard Temp CN2 salt is required to regenerate the bath. Working Range : 560° – 570° C.
• Additive 408 : An additive used in nitriding baths.

FLUXOL 336 is a liquid flux recommended for continuous galvanising line (C.G.L). It is used directly

without any dilution. The flux is highly stable at galvanising temperature. Chemically active flux effectively

removes impurities from the pickled steel to facilitate trouble free iron-zinc reaction.

Range :

• Hard Temp 660 : A neutral salt normally used with Hard Temp A 453 regenerator for hardening tool steel and selectively carburised steel. Also used for preparing initial melts of carburising salts Hard Temp H 402. The salt can be used for preheating hot die steels and high speed steels prior to hardening. Working Range: 660° to 900°C (upto 1000 0C if covered with Hard Temp E 452)
• Hard Temp 720 : A water-soluble neutral hardening salt normally used with Hard Temp A 453 regenerator for hardening various tool steels and selectively carburised steels. Sometimes it is also used with 1 – 10% sodium cyanide as a scale free heat treatment medium. Working Range: 720° to 900° C (upto 950° C if covered with Hard Temp E 452)
• Hard Temp 830 : The salt is used with Hard Temp A 453 regenerator for hardening chromium rust resisting steels B. S. En 36 A-D and B.S. En 57.Working Range: 830° to 1100° C
• Hard Temp 970 : Used for heating high-speed steels and hot work steels to the appropriate hardening temperature without scaling or decarburisation. Working Range: 970° to 1350° C.
• Hard Temp 495 : Used for quenching and secondary hardening of high-speed steels preferably where the temperature required is 500° to 540° C. Working Range: 495° to 700° C
• Hard Temp 540 : Specially developed for quenching high speed steels and hot work tool steels after heating in Hard Temp 970. It is also used for secondary hardening of high-speed tool steels and for tempering. Working Range: 540° to 700° C
• Hard Temp 660 : A neutral salt normally used with Hard Temp A 453 regenerator for hardening tool steel and selectively carburised steel. The salt can be used for preheating hot die steels and high speed steels prior to hardening. Working Range: 660° to 900°C (upto 1000°C if covered with Hard Temp E 452)
• Hard Temp F 666 : A neutral salt for use with Hard Temp F 750.

CGL & ITS MAJOR STEPS
Galvanizing is a process of imparting a sacrificial zinc coating on the iron or steel surface, thereby protecting the surface from atmosphere. Method of application differs according to the need and availability of measures.
The most popular galvanizing method is Hot Dip Galvanizing which is adaptable to almost all types of fabricated and non fabricated items. Flux type Continuous Galvanizing Line is such a kind where iron or steel strips are degreased, pickled and fluxed for surface preparation before dipping into the molten zinc.

Major Steps :
ALKALINE CLEANING - Removing oil, grease and soil from steel surface is crucial, otherwise dissolution of iron oxide / scale by pickling will be retarded.

ACID PICKLING - Ferrous metals have a surface coating of metallic oxide and / or scale which must be removed before zinc coating can be applied successfully. Pickling involves immersing the work in an acid to dissolve the scale or oxide film.

FLUXING - Liquid flux is recommended for continuous galvanizing line (C.G.L). It is used directly without any dilution. It has the ability to keep the sheets free from oxides by removing the rust blush prior to dip in the zinc bath. It also improves the zinc – iron adhesion in the galvanizing process.

PASSIVATION - Chromate conversion coating chemical is applied on galvanized iron and zinc –aluminum surfaces. It imparts excellent corrosion resistive coating that protects the underlying surface from weathering.
In case of nonox lines no fluxing is required. Further, depending on the sheet condition, acid pickling stage may also be omitted.

FLOCCULATING AGENT

• HYDROFLOC 7002 : An anionic high molecular weight flocculating agent in granulated powder form. Its performance is excellent in waste water treatment. If necessary the application may be followed with alum and polyaluminum chloride (PAC).
• HYDROFLOC 7003 P : It is a cationic flocculating agent available in powder form highly effective in removing suspended fine particles in river and pond water. Alum and polyaluminum chloride (PAC) may be used in conjunction with it for better performance.
• HYDROFLOC 7003 L : It is a cationic flocculating agent available in liquid form.

HYDROCHEM 211L is an excellent heavy-duty cleaner and brightener for removing heavy grease, tar and

grime on aluminum fins, copper coils of AHU, FCU, Air Conditioners, Air cooled chillers, Air Cooled

Condensers, Air Cooled Tube bundles etc. It is also used in machinery and many other hard surfaces

including engines and gearboxes of road vehicles for cleaning.

CHEMICALS FOR REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM

• RO TREAT 101 : It is highly effective liquid antiscalant developed to control scale / precipitates within membrane separation systems. It can be used in reverse osmosis (RO), nano-filtration (NF) and ultra-filtration (UF) system. It is compatible with all of the leading RO membranes. It can extend the membrane life by reducing the running cost. It is particularly suitable for treatment of the surface water and the water with high content of organic matter. It is usually used in the first stage of desalinization process.
• RO TREAT 102 : RO-TREAT-102 is a polycarboxylate base highly effective liquid antiscalant developed to control scale precipitates within membrane separation systems. It can be used in reverse osmosis (RO), nano-filtration (NF) and ultra-filtration (UF) system. It is compatible with all of the leading RO membranes. It can extend the membrane life and reduce the running cost. It is particularly suitable for treatment of the surface water and the water with high content of organic matter. • RO CLEAN 105 : It is an excellent Biocide for controlling Biological fouling in membrane systems. The product is designed for industrial applications and non potable use.
• RO CLEAN 109 : It is an excellent membrane cleaning compound for effectively removing organic deposits in membrane systems. It has a wide range of application with many other cleaners. It also has the efficacy of reducing biofouling related problems in any membrane systems.
• RO CLEAN 103 : It is a well balanced membrane cleaning compound for effectively removing acid insoluble calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, strontium sulfate and calcium fluoride.
• RO CLEAN 107 : It is an excellent membrane cleaning solution for reverse osmosis (RO), nano-filtration and ultra-filtration membranes. It is very much effective for removing colloidal and organic matter.
• RO CLEAN 117 : It is a membrane cleaner specially designed to remove iron fouling. It is also effective against light calcium carbonate scaling.

CHEMICALS FOR LOW AND MEDIUM PRESSURE BOILER

• HYDROCHEM 220 L : It is an organic dispersant product to prevent corrosion and scale formation in Boiler.
• HYDROCHEM 230 L : It is an oxygen scavenger. Removes boiler water oxygen, stops conjugate cathodic reaction and thus prevents corrosion in boilers operating at low to medium pressure.
• HYDROCHEM 250 L : It is mainly a liquid pH booster formulation, containing an organic dispersant and catalytic oxygen scavenger for preventing corrosion and scale formation in boilers.
• HYDROCHEM 260 L : It is a single application multifunctional product specially formulated to prevent scale and corrosion related problems in boiler and the product acting as pH booster and it is almost zero TDS chemical.
• HYDROCHEM 270 L : It is a liquid formulation designed to control corrosion and scaling. It keeps the condensate return lines corrosion free by forming a protective layer over the metal surface. It is very effective where the return of condensate is in the range of 90%.
• HYDROCHEM 275 L : It is a formulation acting as pH booster which also controls scale / corrosion related problems in boiler. The product is uniquely designed as an almost zero TDS product and especially applicable where DM is used as a feed water source.

CHEMICALS FOR HIGH PRESSURE BOILER

• HYDROCHEM 401L : It removes oxygen in boiler feed water even at ambient temperature for protection from corrosion without there being increase in any dissolved solid level, for boilers operating at high pressure.
• HYDROCHEM 281L : It is a specialized liquid formulation highly effective in monitoring pH and alkalinity in Boiler water. It is also applicable for condensate treatment as a neutralizing amine.
• HYDROCHEM 291L : It is an excellent product with an alkaline phosphate based formulation to protect the boiler from scale and corrosion related problems.
• HYDROCHEM 402L : Removes oxygen in boiler feed water at ambient as well as elevated temperature for protection from corrosion without there any increase dissolved solid level for boilers operating at high pressure. The product is specially designed following international guidelines and necessary safety precautions.

CORROSION INHIBITORS & ANTI SCALING CHEMICALS FOR CLOSED CIRCUIT COOLING SYSTEMS

• HYDROCHEM 502M : Excellent liquid corrosion inhibitor for application in closed recirculating cooling water systems, also effective as yellow metal inhibitor.
• HYDROCHEM 511 : A formulation used for efficient control of scale, corrosion and dispersing of suspended matters in closed type recirculating cooling water system.
