The output ratings for continuous duty are for the maximum output voltage. For lower voltage taps the permissible output with constant current must be correspondingly reduced. The output supply for an ambient temperature of maximum 45C & altitudes upto 1000 meters above sea level. In case of continuous duty with short time loads, Control Circuit Transformers can be subjected to upto 300 contactor operations per hour with the short time loads in excess of the continuous ratings. The restaurant drop of the on - load output voltage will not exceed 5%.
