RPM Indicator is an electronic device to measure the rotational speed of a shaft or disk. RPM indicators calculate the rotations in number of revolutions per minute. It converts the rotary speed into easily readable numbers. The output will be in digital format.

The principle of working of this instrument is the conversion of centrifugal force into number of revolutions. When a shaft or disc of the object is connected to RPM indicator, the rotating element of RPM indicators generates the centrifugal force.
