Cultivator Tynes are the member through which the shovels are attached to the main frame and these are usually made of high Carbon steel (EN-42 etc ) They may either be press Forged or Close Die Forged and may further be heated to impart desired tensile Strength and ductility.
SONAFARM MEDIUM DUTY Type Spring Loaded Tiller has a unique advantage over other designs. Because of direct vertical mounting on the main frame there is minimum structural interference between the members of the frame. This unique feature prevents mud as well as trash collection and therefore this design is useful in conservation tillage.
SONAFARM Type Spring Loaded Tiller is simple in design but sturdy in performance. It has been specifically designed for the light and medium soils. Strong mainframe of two rolled channels with channel braces resists bending strains and ensures that the Spring Loaded tynes are accurately spaced for precision work and correctly angled for good operation. The dual Spring Loaded tynes fully match the main frame in strength.
Cultivators spring enable the tynes of a spring loaded Cultivator to overcome obstacles in the path of tilling and are usually Extension spring made of special quality wire Rod (9.2 mm commonly used size) with an ability to withstand extension up to 10 MM after coiling these undergo Heat treatment process for stress Relieving and Normalizing.
