The 3M heat shrinkable bus bar insulation tubing range is suitable for round and rectangular bus bars for upto 52 kV applications. The tube is made of a special formulated heat shrinkable cross linked polyolefin based material providing excellent electrical insulation property for both indoor and outdoor environments. The tubings which is of Reddish brown colour, has excellent electrical insulation, high resistance to splitting, good moisture resistance and excellent track resistance properties. The tubing shrinks upon application of heat from temperature of 120 150 deg C using gas torch in the field and in oven for large scale production, or heating in electric oven. The tubing provides insulation and protection against flash over and accidentally induced discharge. It provides adequate insulation in the places where space is constraint. |
Application |
The use of 3M ATX tube provides protection of live bus bar from phase to phase to and phase to ground failures. By using ATX tubings, equipment can be designed by reducing air spacing between bus bars. This will help in reduction of the switch gears equipment. |
There are hardly any other longer-lasting, more robust and cost-effective testing devices than the two-piece high-voltage test devices from the PGK HB series. They generate continuous adjustable test voltages with mains frequency or optionally DC with positive or negative polarity. The display instruments for current and voltage, the safety control unit and the regulating transformer for the voltage are integrated in the operating unit.

The ZIGOR SOLAR XTR3 is a three phrase solar inverter. It is responsible for converting the direct current generated by photovoltaic panels into alternating current for injection into the electrical power distribution grid.
The ZIGOR SOLAR XTR3 can be used both to back up consumption and as a system to produce electricity. In the first case, if the electrical power consumption of the location in which the inverter is installed is lower than the power consumed by this unit, excess production is delivered to the grid. If this consumption exceeds production, the energy required to complete the balance is taken from the electricity grid. In the second case, all the power generated by the equipment is injected into the electricity grid. In both cases, the appropriate power measurement systems must be installed for each use.

Demonstration board MI 3088 simulates typical photovoltaic (PV) system with one PV module and DC/AC inverter. It repre-sents a typical installation that consist of PV string, DC switch box , DC/AC inverter and one phase connection to the power grid. It is intended for use preferably by sales personnel for demonstration of the measuring methods and procedures on DC and partially on AC side of a PV system.
Polywater Solar Panel Wash is specially formulated for cleaning all types of solar panels without oxidizing or abrading aluminum rails and mounting apparatus. Many common car-wash soaps and window cleaners contain alkalines that promote oxidation and require a deionized water rinse.
Dust, bird droppings, pollution, pollen, tree sap, plant matter residue, etc., all reduce the overall effectiveness of solar panel generation capacity. A 2011 study by the World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology concluded that "accumulated dust on the surface of photovoltaic solar panels can reduce the systems efficiency by up to 50%." Panels must be cleaned regularly to maximize system performance and longevity.
Even if only one panel in a string operates at 10% less than full capacity due to contamination, the entire string suffers the same 10% performance loss. This is known in the industry as the "Christmas-lights effect". The small cost of regular cleaning with Polywater Solar Panel Wash yields big savings by increasing panel capacity.

How to Clean Solar Panel Using Polywater SPW
For best results product should be diluted.
For pressure washers, hose sprayers, etc., dilute 1:25
For persistent soils, use a higher concentration of Solar Panel Wash and a soft cloth or brush to remove any remaining residues. Rinse the panels with 1:25 SPW solution and allow to dry. SPW leaves a clean surface that will dry faster, reduce spotting, and repel soil, making it easier to clean your panels the next time. As an option, rinse surface with water. Observe the condition of the panelsand repeat the process above if necessary.

The non-linear stress grading material in the 3M Tapex System eliminates the rather cumbersome and time-consuming process of tapering the XLPE insulation at the ferrule end of the straight through joints. The stripped cable insulation, conductor screen and insulation screen are rebuilt with Self Amalgamating EPDM Tapes. The joint is enclosed and encapsulated with a cast resin system to provide mechanical protection and to prevent water ingress. 3M ACCR is a lightweight, thermal expansion product that ensures low sag at high ampacities. ACCR is a unique amalgamation of aluminum matrix core and heat resistant Al-Zr at the outer strands, assuring a strong advantage over other conductors.
ACCR's characteristic includes, strength and durability, better corrosion resistance, high modulus for less stretch, higher electrical conductivity and lower thermal expansion for less sag. This permits the use of higher operating temperatures, which in turn leads to higher ampacities. Both the composite core and the outer Al-Zr strands contribute to the overall conductor robustness and conductivity.
