Micro silica (RAH) is an amorphous polymorph of silica (SiO2 / silicon di-oxide). It is also known as silica fume or condensed silica fume. It is an ultrafine powder collected as a by-product during the production of the silicon and ferrosilicon alloys.
It is highly pozzolanic material and is used to enhance the mechanical and durable properties of concrete. It improves the physical structure by occupying the spaces between the cement particles. SF particles are spherically shaped and very fine, Particle size of 0.03 - 0.1 microns.

RAH as a pozzolanic reactive material can be used to improve surface area of transition zone between the microscopic stucture of cement paste and aggregate in the high performance concrete.
