Auto Main Failure Panels, also known as AMF panels, are used to automatically changeover from mains electricity supply to stand-by generator or gen set on failure of the mains supply. When the mains supply is restored, the system automatically changes back and stops the gen set. The stand-by generator will be eventually shut down after a short cooling down period.

Construction:
Incomer ACB is assembled in single tier. However, up to 1600A OUTGOING ACBs can be assembled in TWO Tier arrangements.
Similarly, 630A MCCB/FSU is accommodated in 3 compartments per bay, 250/400A feeders in 4 compartments/bays.
In TWO TEAR ACB FEEDER, the outgoing ACB links are made of different in length for easy cable termination, depending on cable incoming. Also for bottom ACB, vertical dropper is taken for ACB bus bar I/C Connection.
Rear Side of the panel is divided into two sections, first to accommodate vertical Bus bar dropper with a hinged door fabricated with perforated CRCA SHEET in between for a perfect combination of shrouding with the facility of heat dissipation & visibility. Alternatively, for single tier ACB feeder Hinged ACRYLIC DOOR is provided.

Constant Voltage Transformer

In our Ferro Resonant type Constant Voltage Transformers CVT, the AC mains power the input winding, which is widely separated physically from the isolated output winding. The input winding normally runs at very moderate Flux linkage levels. The output winding exhibits an intrinsic energy characteristic and this energy storage operate in conjunction with mains capacitor to produce self-generated AC flux Field which is indirectly extracted from the Input Winding.
These Constant Voltage transformer or CVT use a tank circuit composed of a high-voltage resonant winding and a capacitor to produce a nearly constant average output with a varying input. The ferroresonant approach is attractive due to its lack of active components, relying on the square loop saturation characteristics of the tank circuit to absorb variations in average input voltage.
The ferroresonant action is a flux limiter rather than a voltage regulator, but with a fixed supply frequency it can maintain an almost constant average output voltage even as the input voltage varies widely.
All problems related to variation / fluctuation in Voltages are effectively handled because of this principle and a constant voltage output of 1% is given.

A motor control center (MCC) is an assembly of one or more enclosed sections having a common power bus and principally containing motor control units. Motor control centers are in modern practice a factory assembly of several motor starters. A motor control center can include variable frequency drives, programmable controllers, and metering and may also be the electrical service entrance for the building.
Motor control centers have been used by the automobile manufacturing industry which used large numbers of electric motors. Today they are used in many industrial and commercial applications. Where very dusty or corrosive processes are used, the motor control center may be installed in a separate air-conditioned room, but often an MCC will be on the factory floor adjacent to the machinery controlled.

Nylon terminals are used with suitable accessories like TERMINALS HEADERS, MARKERS STOPPER, and CT SHORTING TERMINALS etc.
Wiring bunch is laid down in PVC DUCTS and arranged to give double safety by using SPIRAL/FLEXIBLE CONDUCT. All components are marked with INTERNAL LEGENDS; legends are made out of trifoliate sheet to depict feeder designation even in rear cable chamber also. Control circuit is powered by DRAW TYPE FUSE or MCB.
Every incomer panel is provided with drawing pocket for ready reference of control schemes.

Power and control wiring bunches are carried in vertical cable alley DIN CHANNEL is provided to accommodated NYLON COLOUREDE POWER TERMINAL AND CONTROL TERMINALS, represented by markers & headers. Transparent shroud are provided in incoming side to avoid accidental contact in case door is opened.
