Colour Coating Line

Colour coating line manufactures Colour Coating Lines.The lines can be simple, semi-continuous type with infra-red ovens to high speed continuous lines with a standard catenary and "floater-type" convection oven or electrical element heated type.The line can be designed for water or solvent based liquids (Alkyds, acrylics, epoxies, organosols, plasterols, phenolics, polyesters, polyurethenes, vinyls, PVDFPVDF-2) for strip thickness of 0.15mm and higher.Rollcon Engg. Co. have developed special modular lines. These lines with small installed capacity at the beginning can be developed in stages to a high capacity with minimum possible downtime & cost. Pickling Lines

Rollcon Engg. Co. offers Push-Pull, Semi-Continuous and Continuous Pickling Lines. Push-Pull lines process one coil at a time, thus removing the need for joining strips. This allows tremendous flexibility of operation and ensures ease of operation and maintenance. As there is no need for accumulators in such lines, these lines have very low cost of investment and are very much cost-effective for medium volume of production.
Push-Pull Pickling Lines can process strips between 1.0mm to 6.0mm thick and 200mm to 2000mm wide. For higher rate of production, Rollcon Engg. Co. offers Semi-Continuous and Continuous Pickling Lines. In both these, continuous operation is achieved by welding/stiching. Accumulators are provided at entry and exit to allow continuous operation during the joining at the uncoiler end and removal of coils at the recoiler end. In continuous lines, the process section runs at a constant speed, while in semi-continuous lines, where the accumulators are small in capacity, the speed of the process section reduces during the coil jointing at the uncoiler and changeover at the recoiler. Such installations are cost-effective due to simplicity of the accumulator designs.
The important features of Rollcon Engg. Co. Pickling Lines are:
Turbulent Acidic Bath:The pickling tanks are shallow tanks made of granite specially contoured to permit fast and trouble free threading. The specially arranged flow of acid in the tanks increases the rate of pickling by causing high turbulence of acid in the tank & thus enabling high speeds with low residence time & hence less length of the pickling tanks.
Spray Rinsing:The special washing systems after the acid treatment are provided to ensure that the strips carry very low chlorides which helps in prolonging the life of the rolling mill coolant in the subsequent cold rolling operation, apart from ensuring longer shelf-life of pickled coils.
Acidic Recirculation System:Rollcon Engg. Co. fully engineers the acid recirculation system to ensure good pickling quality and trouble free performance. All acid recirculation tanks are made from FRVE. All piping carrying acid at temperatures above 80 C. are also made from FRVE/Special grades of P.P. Instrumentation, meters and MMIs are provided in the system for continuous monitoring of the process parameters.
Additional Inline Features:Additional features like Edge-Trimming, Skin-Passing, Coating, Cut-To-Length etc. can be incorporated as per the requirements of the customer
Environment Friendly:Rollcon Engg. Co. process sections feature properl sealings of the tanks and an efficient fume exhaust and scrubbing system to ensure low release of acid fumes within the plant.
Low Effluents:The waste Pickling Liquor is very rich in iron contents and therefore low in volume. The acidic water effluent is also extremely low.
Low Consumptions:Rollcon Engg. Co. engineering ensures maximum utilisation of the acid for pickling and least wastage through effluents, thus resulting into low consumption of acid per ton of production. Efficient recycling of acidic water in the system reduces drastically the consumption of water per ton.

Tension Levlling Lines

Rollcon Engg. Co. offers tension levelling lines.These lines provide excellent sheet metal flatness required for high quality applications.
The tension leveller levels the strip by making the sheet fibre lengths uniform across its entire width. It does this by elongating parts of the metal beyond their yield point. When the strip passes through the leveller under tension, internal stresses in the material are eliminated, thus helping to achieve flatness or shape correction tolerances to very low "I" units.
Tension levelling lines can be "Coil-to-Coil" or "Coil-to-Sheet" type or a combination type, offering both of these facilities.
Tension Leveller :The Tension Leveller comprises of an undriven leveller arrangement with entry and exit bridles. The degree of elongation is determined by the difference in the speed or the tension generated between the bridles and is controlled automatically by the electrical system. The bridles can be provided with any of several different drive systems such as closed loop mechanical differentials, all-electrical drives and combination electrical-mechanical drives.
The leveller can be equipped with the 2, 4, 5 or 7 work roll modules. The configuration of 4 Hi or 6 Hi can be provided depending on the extent of surface criticality and type of material. The tension leveller design allows good access for cleaning and maintenance.
The tension levellers are also provided with neutralising sections which follow the work roll modules. They relieve the stresses induced in the strip as it passes over the last work roll. These sections can be of a 2 roll or a multiple roll design

Cut To Length Shearing Line

Rollcon Engg. Co. has a wide range of designs for Cut-to-length lines to suit the exact needs of the customer. With a reference of many lines with a width range of 450mm to 1500mm and thickness range of 0.12mm to 10.0mm of ferrous and non-ferrous material.
Roll Feed Lines :Normally used for high quality requirements of sheets for Automotives and white goods, in these lines, the precision leveller runs continuously at a constant speed and pushes the material in a loop. A low inertia Feed Roll pulls the material out of the loop at high speed and stops at the exact required length, ensuring accurate cut lengths. Length accuracy of 0.05mm and diagonal accuracy of 0.5mm can be achieved, depending on the selection of electrical controls. These lines can cut sheets at the rate upto 40 cuts/minute and speeds upto 80mpm.
Start-Stop Lines/Hump Type Lines:These lines are the ideal choice for customers who do not require the high production rates associated with Roll Feed Lines and want to process heavier gauge, non-surface critical materials.In these lines, the leveller/flattener works in a start-stop or run & crawl mode. Strips upto 10mm thick and 2000mm wide can be processed on such lines.
Rotory Shearing Lines :These are used for thinner strips at fast speeds. Typical application is Galvanised and/or colour coated strips for roofing materials. The precision leveller runs at a constant speed. The shear blades are mounted on two eccentrics geared together and activated automatically to match the sheet speed at the exact length for shearing. Speeds upto 100mpm can be attained on such lines.

Precision Levellers
Rollcon Engg. Co. offers 4High, 5High and 6High multi-roll precision levellers suitable for strip thicknesses as low as 0.10mm and as high as 6.0mm. Built to high precision, these levellers are designed to be adjusted "on the fly" or "as you level". A number of adjustable back up roll banks ensure high quality of levelling. Quick change cassette type models are also available to increase the range of strip thickness in the same line.

Tail Out Function :
Automatic tail out function is provided to monitor operations of the entire line to enable unaided and damage free cutting upto the last possible full length sheet after the tail-out of the coil from the uncoiler.
Stacking Systems :
Rollcon Engg. Co offer air cushion type or drop type or combination air-drop type stackers. End discharge or side discharge systems coupled with extra features of stack storage, weighment and conveying can also be provided. Multiple stackers can be also be provided to eliminate stack change-over time for higher productivity.
