All devices are based on the same concept and, therefore, the user benefits from an identical interface on different devices and diverse functions for the efficient control and regulation of adhesive application.
All heated hoses are designed to be higly flexible, energy optimized and include 4 fold burst pressure security. Like all Robatech components, the heated hoses are regulated by a precise temperature control.
Gear pumps can generate very high pressures. This feature is critical, especially in consistent coatings. Robatech gear pump systems are highly dynamic depending on the engine version. Optional pressure controls prevent accumulation of glue. Volume control adjusts the speed of application, depending on the machine speed.
Gerotor pump are less sensitive for filled adhesives. In many applications with low delivery precision, this type of pump is sufficient to achieve the desired results.
RobaDrum 200 is ideally suited for melting inserts with high adhesive flow. The drum melter is designed for processing and delivery of thermoplastic adhesives, PUR hot melt adhesives, or sealants in different production processes.
The Robamelt RMC 20 is designed for industrial processing and delivery of thermoplastic and reactive hot melt adhesives as well as sealing compounds from 20-liter pails.
Depending on the process, adhesive can be melted as needed (Melt-on-Demand). The Robamelt RMC 20 is recommended for small adhesive amounts and - due to melting plate sealing - for infrequent operation.Both melting plate variants (smooth and ribbed) are optimized for residual quantity. The non-stick coating of the melting plate facilitates cleaning and reduces the maintenance effort.
The sturdy application heads on the AX Diamond series are exceptionally well-suited for the no-contact adhesive application used in closures on secondary cardboard packaging in the packaging industry and for other uses in the lower to mid-speed range.
This product is characterized by the small installation dimensions, the fast response and very good tear-off behavior.
The SX LongLife jetting head is Robatechs sustainable solution for the concactless application of low to medium-viscosity thermoplastic hot melt adhesives. The durable application head can be flexibly used and excels with small installation dimensions as well as precise adhesive application with perfect tear-off behavior.
The insulated SX LongLife jetting head is suited for precise dot and bead application at medium to high speed. It is a further development of the Diamond series and thus compatible with most Robatech application systems. Based on that and its small installation dimensions, it is ideally suited for retrofits and systems with limited space. The application head is modular and available in different design versions and can thus be flexibly adopted to the respective application. As indicated by its name, the SX LongLife is very durable. The robust solenoid valve and the specially developed jetting element support up to 200 million operating cycles. Thanks to its variety, it can be flexibly used for different applications in diverse industries, such as the packaging and graphical industry.
Advantages of the SX LongLife Jetting Head at a GlanceThe SX LongLife is a double-acting, electro-pneumatic jetting head. The compressed air for opening and closing the jetting element is switched using the solenoid valve. The result is precise and uniform adhesive application. Thanks to the specially developed jetting element and robust solenoid valve, the head is particularly durable and achieves up to 200 million operating cycles. An integrated filter in the heating block prevents nozzle blockages and ensures reliable and durable adhesive application. In addition, nozzle protection prevents damage to the nozzle and loss of heat, which results in even better tear-off behavior.
Increased Safety and SustainabilityThe CoolTouch insulation of the Diamond series protects the operator against burns, significantly contributing to operating safety. Reduced heat radiation additionally protects the products to be glued. The heat-resistant insulation ensures a resource-saving and sustainable production as energy and adhesive consumption is reduced significantly. Furthermore, the hot melt adhesive does not cool down anymore between melter and nozzle and is protected against drafts in the case of machines operating at very high speeds. A special protection is available for bottom-up applications with rotated application head to protect the jetting head against contaminations. This supports a longer service life and reduced maintenance.
Modularity and CompatibilityAs part of the Diamond series, the SX LongLife is compatible with most Robatech application systems. This simplifies integration into existing machines and reduces spare part costs, as diverse components, such as filter, nozzle range, and heated hoses, are the same. The application head can be used in a variety of different design versions with selectable jetting elements and valve heads for optimum processing of diverse adhesive types. It can thus be flexibly adopted to the respective application.
The SideBead applicator head was designed for a fine bead application on both sides of the book spine.

The sturdy spiral spray heads of the AX Diamond series are ideally suited for non-contact application of low- to medium-viscosity thermoplastic hot melt adhesives. They are characterized by precise and consistent adhesive application and are operationally safe and energy-efficient thanks to heat-resistant CoolTouch insulation.
The insulated spray heads are specially developed forspiral application. Application width and quantityof the adhesive can beadjusted easily and quickly. The robust hot melt adhesive application heads are suited for applications, such aspallet stabilizationwithanti-slip gluingor foranti-scratchapplications when transportingtiles and ceramic plates. However, they are also used in other areas.

Thanks to thefilter integratedin the heating block, nozzle blockage is prevented. Thesturdy designmakes the spiral spray head very resilient, especially under harsh conditions.

The Steinmeyer SK 202 is an electro-pneumatic spray head for applying hot melts in spirals and bands without touching the surface material.
The FKV is a wide slot-die coating head for continuous surface applications of thermoplastic or reactive hotmelts.
The compact design, fast changeover speeds and great features, makes the FKV a benchmark in pre-metered coating technology today. The FKV is typically used for laminating and profile wrapping equipment in the wood-working industry, as well as in coating and laminating systems for textiles, hygiene products, fabrics and foam materials, etc.
The FK IT 25 / 50 / 75 coating heads ensure precise cut-off at high speeds and fast switching times (cycles). The gluing process is optimized using mask technology and a cost-effective and flexible adhesive application ensured.
