REVTI Mica Band Heaters are sheathed with plated C.R.C.A. / Brass or Stainless Steel sheets. Heaters are provided with 1.5 mm asbestos insulation and stainless steel cover. The Heating Element (Winding) is of high quality Nickel-Chromium resistance wires. Heaters are available in One-piece and Two- piece designs.
REVTI band heaters with EXPANDABLE design feature allows the heater to be opened for installation over the barrel without causing internal damage to the winding. Heater Terminals are properly placed so as to avoid cold spots.

Heating conductor grade NICR of higher grade is evenly wound over a supporting core which is centrally located in a chrome nickel steel tube and the inner space is filled with specially selected high purity magnesium oxide.
This assembled unit is then highly compressed, converting the core, powder and conductor into a homogeneous mass. The bottom end of the heater is welded with a conical disc washer to prevent contamination and ease of replacement.
