Ball valvesshall have a spherical ball that moves in a plane perpendicular to the direction of flow.
Full opening through ball valves shall have a circular bore in the spherical ball that allows a sphere to pass with a nominal size not less than " nominal diameter. Reduce opening through Ball valve shall have a semi circular bore in the spherical ball that allows a phere to pass with a nominal size not less than 10" nominal diameter, Unless otherwise specified by customer.
Reduce opening valves with a non circular opening through the spherical ball shall be supplied with a minimum opening as agreed by customer.

Pressure & Temperature Rating

Valves manufactured by Reliable Valves shall be furnished in one of the following classes
- PN 20 (class 150)- PN 50 (class 300)- PN 64 (class 400)- PN 100 (class 600)- PN 150 (class 900);- PN 250 (class 1500)- PN 420 (class 2500);
Pressure-temperature rate is for above class rated valves shall be in accordance to ASME-B 16.34/EN 1092-1, Other than shall be determine for a material properties in accordance with the applicable design standard.

Design Features

Anti-Static Device & Blowout ProofAnti-static device is formed through metal to metal contact, The stem is grounded against body and ball by separate anti-static spring to avoid from any electric spark. The blow out proof over size stem operate the valve safety even at high differential pressure. A bottom stem seal enabling replacement of gland packing even when valve may under pressure.

Double Block & BleedSpring loaded floating seats maintain contact with the ball and provide tight shut off even at low pressure differential. Independent sealing of upstream and downstream sides facilitates draining of fluid from the body cavity, and thus the double block and bleed operation.

Double Body SealingDouble seal combination of O-Ring and spiral wound gasket ensures perfect body joint sealing. Reliable Valves therefore meet or exceed the fugitive emission requirements across wide range of pressure and temperature applications. Valves are suitable for both above and underground installations.

Multiple Stem SealingA triple sealing arrangement in stem area prevents leakage to atmosphere. It includes double sealing with O-rings and graphite seal at the top of stem housing. The blow out of proof stem enables positive stem retention.

Sealant System & LubricantBall valve of size 6 & above shall be provided and emergency sealant injection system if required by customer. The lubricant & sealant fittings are located near seat area & at stem neck. The lubricant sealant entered via inject fitting & pass around the seat ring. The lubricant will lower the torque in valve & sealant will provide sealing for minor damage such as scratches on seal faces.

Fire Safe DesignIn the event the fire soft insert gets burnt & spring loaded seats ensure metal to metal sealing.

Corrosion Protection & PaintingAll castings are sand blasted & are subject to dewatering oil coats. Valves are thoroughly cleaned & primer coated with epoxy zinc phosphate primer, Followed by final coat of epoxy synthetic enamel applied in semi gloss finish.

Motor Operated Valves

Motor operated valves are Swing Type with bolted cover construction. The one piece disc construction is securely fastened to the hinge by means of a lock nut & pin. Adjustable chokeare the chokes that include restrictions or orifices to control the flow rate of fluids.These choke are not ntended to be used as shutoff valves. Performance Requirement
Operating cycle requirement for chokes has got two performance requirement levels:
- Performance Requirement Level 1 has got 3 operating cycle
- Performance Requirement Level 2 has got 200 operating cycle
Pressure & Temperature Rating
Pressure & temperature rating shall be as per API-6A from 13.8 MPa (2000 psi) to 138.0 MPa [20000 psi].
The temperature rating is classified as K, L, N, P, S, T, U, V with minimum -60deg centigrade to 121 centigrade.
Material Class
The material class has got various services for general & sour service from AA, BB, CC, DD, EE, FF, HH. The minimum material requirement for body, bonnet, end & outlet connections with respect to pressure controlling parts, stems & mandrel hangers

Ring Gaskets

Ring gasketsalso known as RTJ, used in offshore oil and gas pipelines and are designed to work under extremely high pressure. They are solid rings of metal in different cross sections like oval, round, octagonal etc. Also, they come with hole in center for pressure equalization.

There are three types of Ring Gaskets. Type R & Type RX which are used on 6B flanges and BX Gaskets are used on 6BX Flanges. Ring gaskets are made of different materials like Soft Iron, Carbon and low alloy steel, 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, Nickel alloy UNS N08825 & Other CRA materials.

Weld Neck Connectors

API Specified 6B Weld Neck Flanges have restricted bores to match standard pipe sizes and schedules. API Spec 6A Specified, 6 BX Weld Neck Flanges, have material and dimensions that conform to the requirements for full bore integral flanges. API Spec 6A does not specify overall length of 6BX Weld Neck Flanges, but instead provides dimensions of specific portions of the flange, with tolerance, that are added together, along with an undefined weld bevel, to achieve a length. Customers may specify weld neck length if required.

Tees And Crosses

Cross:
Pressure containing fitting with a minimum of four openings.

Tee:
Pressure containing fitting with three openings. Two openings opposite one another form the run portion of the tee, and one opening is at 90 to the line of the run. Tees may be equipped with threads, flanges, studs or other end connectors.

Flanged crosses and tees can be made for 13.8 MPa, 20.7 MPa, 34.5 MPa, 69MPa, 103MPA and 138 MPa rated working pressure. Studded crosses and tees can be made for 13.8 MPa, 20.7 MPa, 34.5 MPa, 69.0 MPa, 103.5 MPA and 138 MPa rated working pressure.

The marking of the product is with ISO 10423 followed by Temperature class, Material class, Product specification level, Product requirement level, Nominal size, Thread size, End and outlet size connection, Rated working pressure, Ring gasket type and number, Date of Manufacture, Manufacturers name ( Reliable Valves), Serial No & Hardness test value.

When specific nominal sizes and combinations of nominal sizes do not appear in API Spec 6 A, Reliable Valves shall manufacture Studded/ Flanged Crosses and Tees according to the design criteria provided in API Spec 6A.
