PTFE Equipment Wires
These insulated equipment / hookup wires are most often used inside of other electrical components. These wires are uniquely suited to this type of application. They possess outstanding build specs, which gives them very high mechanical & electrical properties. One of the most important of these is being very resistant to heat; they are approved for temperatures of over 180?C, and down to -40?C. In addition to temperature stability, PTFE cables are highly resistant to chemical fumes and liquids that would render other cables useless in a short time.
PTFE has outstanding dielectric properties which makes it ideal for the insulation of wires. These properties persist in high altitude environments as well. Relemac Technologies manufactures custom wires for internal hookups and equipment uses in stock sets but can also manufacture them custom made for your unique application in the following formats:

Ptfe Mulricore Cable The manufacture of Multi Core cables which will be exposed to harsh environments is serious business, and Relemac Technologies takes the manufacture of their cables and wiring systems just as seriously. Our PTFE Multi Core cables meets the specifications of MIL-DTL-27500H /JSS 51038. This rating makes these cable ideal for use in the following applications:

• Instrumentation of power projects
• Chemical & fertilizers industries and support industries
• Steel plants
• Various other types of engineering industries

As well, these Multi Core cables are available in many different formats. Shielding prevents electrostatic interference which keeps external electric sources from corrupting the signal which is carried by the Multi Core cable. Obviously, this is of utmost importance for a cable which is used as in the control chain. Shielding also minimizes crosstalk and eliminates the signal transfer between circuits of the same cable. Below you will find the types of Multi Core cables most often used:

• Unshielded twisted cores
• PTFE Jacketed and Shielded twisted cores/ twisted pairs and
• Overall PTFE / PVC or Fiber Glass outer jacket cables

At short distances, twisted Multi Core or multi-pair unshielded cables can be used. These are most often used as a connecting link between the central instrumentation modules and the various transducers that they control.

Compensating & Extension (Thermocouple Cables)
These cables are indispensable for measurements of precise temperatures at remote measurement points. The path from the thermocouple sensor to the measuring instrument is of utmost importance, especially in operations where precise temperature control is essential. The goal is to use similar metallic materials and thermoelectric properties as the thermocouple they are paired with. With both of these thermocouple cables they accomplish the same thing through different means. An extension cable is basically the same material (metal) as the thermocouple it is serving. Compensating cables are made of the proper amounts of cheaper alloys which when combined properly deliver the correct amount of mili-volts (e.m.f.) so that they are properly matched to the thermocouple. RF-Coaxial Cables

RG cables meet or exceed American Military specifications standards MIL-C-17. These cables are made specifically for the transmission of signals in computer complexes as well as industrial electronics and maintenance applications, or any application where high frequency fidelity is needed. PTFE Electrical Sleevings
Our PTFE sleeving meets or exceeds the requirements set forth in Indian Defense Standards JSS 54802 (LCSO approved) and U.S. MIL-1-22129 protocols. This sleeving system can be used in electrical, electronic, chemical, mechanical and many other industries. The sleeves are made by a process of tape wrapping and sintering. It creates a very secure and stable wrap, and is available in the following colors and more, depending upon your need:

PTFE electrical Sleevings can withstand temperatures between negative 65? C and 260? C. They are also resistant to flame, hydraulic fluids, chemicals, aircraft and rocket fuel. This resistance is not affected by altitude.PTFE High Voltage Cables (Corona Resistant)
Use this application where high voltage and high heat are combined;Screened & Jacketed from 5 KVAC to 22 KVAC (9 KVDC to 40 KVDC) working voltage in solid colours.Some standard sizes having specially formulated PTFE with Corona Resistant features, shows excellent results at high voltage.Additional Fiber glass outer Braiding also available.

PTFE Heaters Wires
We are manufacturing PTFE Insulated Heating Wires. These heaters are Safe, Efficient and Long Life. These heating wires are being used in the following applications.

PTFE Insulated Heater wires find a large number of applications in process industries these are available in wire or coil form, for a fixed resistance value per meter. Various type of heating solutions for process heating up to 2000C can be designed with these heaters. Relemac make under floor heating cables are available in various wattage ratings, ranging from 150 Watts to 3000 Watts, with or without shield.These heating wires incorporate Alloy resistance wire capable of Long-life stability at the required temperature and are normally Multistrands PTFE Insulators over these resistance wires provide maximum insulation durability for long life and safe operation.

High Temperature Power Cables
These cables are designed to work with high current loads at high temperature environment conditions, such as wiring of furnace heaters, ovens and Industrial wiring under harsh working conditions. Conductors are made of fine multi-strand Bare/Silver Plated copper strands, PTFE insulated for 600 V / 1000 V working voltage grade, having suitable insulation thickness, which can bear the mechanical load of heavy conductor, overall fiber glass braided & silicone varnished to provide surface protection to inner dielectric for extra mechanical stability. It can be further braid armored with stainless steel wire or tin plated copper wire.Relemac Wires & Cables manufacture both Single & Multi-core power cables.Basic Cores are insulated with PTFE for 600 V working grade laid up and PTFE Jacketed overall fiber glass braided with silicone varnish or stainless steel braided for mechanical protection, the However combination of both FG and SS can also be given.

Construction Details

Conductor

• Conductors are made from Electrolytic grade aluminium / Copper as per Class 1 & 2 of IS: 8130:1984

Insulation (IS: 5831-1984)

• PVC Type A: General Purpose Insulation for Fixed Installation Cables.
• PVC Type C: Heat Resisting (HR) Insulation.

Core Identification
The cores are identified by different colours as mentioned below:

• Single-core: Red, Yellow, Blue, Black or any colour as per Customers requirement
• Two-core: Red and Black
• Three-core: Red, Yellow, and Blue
• Three and half core : Red, Yellow, Blue, and reduced neutral core in Black.
• Four-core : Red, Yellow, Blue, and Black
• Five Core Cables: Red, Yellow, Blue, Black and Grey.
• Six Core and above   : Two adjacent cores (counting & direction) in each layer Blue and Yellow, remaining cores Grey.The same sequence as mentioned above along with indelible printing of core numbers or All cores of same colour with indelible numbering on each core in contrasting colour. Other colour in agreement with the purchaser and the manufacturer with number coding.

Laying UpCores are laid up as per the above colour scheme with a suitable right hand lay.

Inner SheathLaid up cores are Provided by either wrapping or extrusion as agreed to between the supplier and the purchaser with thermoplastic material. The material used shall be compatible with the temperature rating of the LV Pvc cable.

ArmouringArmouring is provided over the inner sheath to guard against mechanical damage. Armouring is generally of galvanized steel wires or strips. Armouring shall be provided over the inner sheath with a suitable left hand lay.The minimum coverage of Armour shall be 90 % In single-core cables, used in the AC system, armouring is by non-magnetic hard drawn aluminium wires. Round steel wires are used where the diameter over the inner sheath does not exceed 13 mm, above 13 mm. flat steel strip armour is used. Round wire of different sizes can also be provided against specific requests.

Outer PVC JacketThe Outer Sheath shall be applied over the Inner Sheath or over the laid-up cores. In case the Outer Sheath is provided over the laid-up cores then the Average thickness of Outer Sheath shall be the sum of the Nominal Thickness of Outer Sheath as specified in IS: 1554 (Part-1)-1988 and the Minimum thickness of Inner Sheath as specified in the standard.
