The Inconel 600 Rods are a nickel-chromium alloy used for applications that require corrosion and high temperature resistance. The Inconel Rods are designed for service temperatures from cryogenic to elevated temperatures in the range of 2000oF. The Inconel Rods are non-magnetic, have excellent mechanical properties, and present the desirable combination of high strength and good weldability under a wide range of temperatures. The high nickel content in Inconel Rods enables it to retain considerable resistance under reducing conditions, makes it resistant to corrosion by a number of organic and inorganic compounds, gives it excellent resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking and also provides excellent resistance to alkaline solutions. Typical applications of the Inconel Rods include the chemical, pulp and paper, aerospace, nuclear engineering and heat treating industries.

It has excellent corrosion resistance to a wide variety of media, with outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in seawater and other chloride containing environments due to its high chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen level, with Critical Pitting Temperature exceeding 50C. The duplex microstructure gives this grade high strength UNS S32750 a low coefficient of thermal expansion and higher heat conductivity than austenitic steels and is suitable for working temperatures up to 300C. Listed in NACE MR 01 75 for sour service UNS S32750 and having gained ASME Approval for Pressure Vessel applications it can be used in a wide variety of applications.

Supper Duplex 2507 Round Bar
We are offering super duplex 2507 stainless steel baruns s32750uns s32750, commonly known as super duplex 2507, is very similar to uns s31803 duplex. The difference between the two is the contents of chromium and nitrogen are higher in the super duplex grade which in turn creates higher corrosion resistance as well as a longer lifespan. Super duplex is composed of between 24% to 26% chromium, 6% to 8% nickel, 3% molybdenum, and 1.2% manganese, with the balance being iron. Also found in super duplex are trace amounts of carbon, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, nitrogen, and copper. Benefits include: good weldability and workability, a high level of thermal conductivity and low coefficient of thermal expansion, high resistance to corrosion, fatigue, high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, high resistance to stress corrosion cracking (especially chloride stress corrosion cracking), high energy absorption, high strength, and erosion. Essentially, the duplex alloys are a compromise; possessing some of the ferritic stress corrosion cracking resistance and much of the superior formability of the common austenitic stainless alloys, more cost effectively than the high nickel alloys.
