The advanced acoustic engineering employed in attenuating noise also saves on the expenses for building up a separate room for the DG set
The meticulously designed and CNC (Amada) Turret punch press and hydraulic press brake manufactured body constructed from folded sections is rigid in form and aesthetic in looks. The weatherproof enclosure is corrosion resistant and is made out of cold rolled steel duly surface treated, phosphate and finally powder coated long lasting finish.
Exhaust System - Noise Suppressor:(Residential Silencer)
Absorption type non-resistance Residential Silencer insulated from inside with mineral wool is provided to suppress exhaust noise from the engine.
Insulation:High Density fire retardant/ non-lightning and noise reduction type Acoustic Foam or Resin Bonded Rockwool of suitable density properly covered with Fiber cloth / tissue and perforated sheet is properly clamped on all doors, roof and sides of the enclosure to absorb noise.
Ventilation System:A suitably designed Draught Ventilation System is incorporated & wherever necessary axial blower is provided.
Vibration Insulation:Specially designed shock mounts for vibration insulation mounted between enclosure base and feet of engine and alternator. Control Panel.
Built in Fuel Tank:Reddy Generators Silent DG Sets have unique Built in Fuel Tank which provides absolute safety protection and long hours of uninterrupted and continuous power. A special fuel gauge is also provided for monitoring the fuel level. (Fuel Tank Capacity will be for 8 to 12 hours running of DG Set)
Performance Parameters:The average sound level when measured in green field at 1 meter distance from all four sides is less than 75db (A) average, as per CPCB norms. The average stabilized hot air temperature rise within the canopy near suction air filter is maintained within 7C over and above ambient temperature

The Acoustic Enclosure is modular, cap on type (without base) & Noise shielding construction, the panel construction can be dismantled, relocated to another area and re-erected.
OUTER ENVELOP:The modular panel construction consists of 1.6/2 mm CRCA sheet laminated outside & GI perforated sheet of 24swg thick inside. The acoustic material filled between both the sheets of 75 mm thickness, offers the advantages of high shielding performance & durability. Structural steel support is designed and installed according to the enclosure size.
BASE FRAME:Base frame is made out of 3.15mm CRCA Sheet Fabricated
AIR VENTILATION:Forced air ventilation system is engineered to provide sufficient airflow for heat removal as required as per DG Rating.
COATING:Epoxy paint / P.U. paint/ Powder coated as per requirement after 9 tank treatment.

ACOUSTIC MATERIAL:Rock Wool / PUF - Sound proofing of the enclosure is done with quality Rock Wool confirming to IS-8183 of 96 kg/m3 density. 75 mm thick, Rock Wool is covered with Fiber tissue paper fire resistive. Also 04 mm thick HDPE layer provided between Rockwool & CRCA for anti - donning treatment
PERFORMANCE:The Acoustic Enclosure will fulfill CPCB norms for noise pollution that is 25 dB noise reduction or 75 dB at one meter distance from enclosure surface.
