Our Biomass Briquettes produced from agro-residues are fairly good substitute for coal, lignite and firewood. Loading / unloading, transportation and storage costs of agro-residues are drastically reduced if they are converted in the form of briquettes.
Formation of briquettes at the very site of its production stops air pollution to a large extent. Hence briquetting of Agro-residues produces renewable and environment friendly source of energy.
Our Briquetting is converting the low bulk density agro-residues into high density and energy concentrated fuel briquettes. Our Briquettes are in fact good substitute of coal/wood in industrial boiler and brick kiln for thermal applications. These briquettes are non-conventional source of energy, renewable in nature, eco-friendly, and non-polluting and economical. Our Briquettes have high calorific value compared to fire-wood or loose agro-residues. Our Briquettes give much higher boiler efficiencies.
Our Charcoal briquettes are inexpensive solid fuels made from carbonized biomass. Each briquette was characterized in terms of bulk density, calorific value, compressive strength and proximate analysis. Our Charcoal briquettes were tested for their flammable characteristics through their burning rates and ignition time with white ash. Our charcoal ratio produced the highest heat and increased Fixed Carbon. The results have shown the potential of converting into an alternative fuel source.
