Materials:

At Nameplates & Mimic for Industry, your custom design will be printed onto the underside of either a Autotype (Coated Polyester), a Lexan (polycarbonate) nameplate or a transparent PVC (vinyl) nameplate to create a sub-surface durable label. Our clients then choose then thickness of the nameplate, with options ranging anywhere between .005? to .030? thick.

NOMEX is a high-temperature resistant insulation product with an excellent balance of physical and electrical properties. NOMEX has been widely adopted as electrical insulation for liquid and dry transformers, relays, motors and generators.

We can provide NOMEX pre-cutted sheets as per drawing provided by customer.

We can produce custom graphic overlays, keypad overlays, faceplates, control panel overlays and membrane switch overlays using advanced process of screen printing. Polycarbonate and polyester films are commonly used for overlays and fascias. The printing is applied under-surface which protects the text and graphics from wear and abrasion. A variety of surface finishes are available such as gloss, anti-glare, fine finish and velvet matt. Textures or clear areas can be selectively applied. Multiple colours and complex graphics can be printed as well as transparent, tinted windows for displays and leds. Embossing can be incorporated on keys, to provide a tactile feel, as well as on borders and graphics to enhance the appearance of the overlay. Holes, squares and complex outer profiles are die-cut after printing.
