Our Airfield Lighting Cables (tested from CRI, DGQA-Dehradun) are manufactured as per IS:1554 (Part II) with 5 KV grade. The range of airfield lighting cable is SC x 6 Sq.mm & SC x 16 Sq.mm in Copper and 2C x 25 Sq.mm in aluminum. We provide the full range of airfield cable i.e, primary, secondary and remote control cables. Primary cables used between transformers and Constant Current Regulators, Secondary cables are used between lights and transformers and Remote Control cables shares a connection between Control Tower and Constant Current Regulators. These cables can also be termed as instrumentation cables, since they are used for process temperature measurement. The construction is similar to paired instrumentation cable but the conductor material is different. Thermocouple is used in processes to sense temperature and is connected to the pyrometers for indication and control. The thermocouple and pyrometers are electrically connnected by Thermocouple extension/Compensating Cables. The conductors used for these cables are required to have similar thermoelectric (emf) properties as that to the thermocouple used for sensing the temperature.
