Programmable Controller

TC49SU is a mid-range programmable temperature controller; feature-rich and cost-effective at the same time. It accepts input from 8 types of thermocouples (B, E, J, K, N, R, S, T), Pt100 3-wire RTD sensors and optionally, 0 - 10 V DC and 4-20 mA or 0 - 20 mA linear inputs. A large LED display on the front of the temperature controller indicates the process value while 2 additional LEDs indicate the status of each of the two relays. Buttons on the front of TC49SU allow operators to easily program up to 2 setpoints for the process value. With an error of only 0.1% of full-scale value, this is a temperature controller of superior accuracy. TC49SU's two electromagnetic relays trigger heating, cooling or full-scale high and low alarms. It also retransmits an isolated current or voltage output signal to other devices such as a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or Solid-State Relay (SSR). Signal isolation protects your devices and machines downstream of our instruments from damaging fluctuations in the input signal. TC49SU is conventionally an ON-OFF controller that outputs a discrete signal, but can also be used in Time-Proportioning Mode which turns the actuator on and off for periods proportional to the desired control effort, to emulate a continuous actuator that can generate a control effort between 0 and 100%. Calibrators

Radix calibrators offer several functions. Operating in measuresource mode, these instruments can handle rtd, ma, mv, thermocouple (tc) and ohms signals amongst others. They can also simulate a 4-20 ma and 24 v loop supply to calibrate other instruments. Microcal is lightweight and cost-efficient and radical is a full-featureed cailbrator. Pid Controllers

Choose from cost-effective or full-featured Radix PID Controllers that accept inputs fromRTD sensors, thermocouplesas well as linear inputs such as 4 - 20 mA, 0 - 20 mA, 0 - 50 mV and the like. All the PID controllers mentioned has the autotuning function. Autotuning function tunes the PID controller to produce accurate control, it takes the factors like external periodic variation in temperature, environmental temperature or surrounding temperature etc into consideration while tuning itself. These factors may affect the controlling function and are essential for accuracy. Large LED displays and LED lights on the controller indicate process variables and relay, communication status and are easily visible to operators from a distance. Operators can easily program setpoints, alarms, control outputs on the controller via membrane keys on the front of the unit to trigger heating, cooling, high-low alarms. Our PID Controllers broadcast signal isolated outputsto protect all downstream machines and devices (such as programmable logic controllers) from damaging fluctuations in the input signal. Flow Totalizers

The Radix Flow Rate Indicator-Totaliser(Totalizer) models FLT601 and FLT401 accept signals from analog flow meters and display flow rates and volumes on a high visibility LED display. These Flow Rate Totalisers accept a 420mA input, and have 4 relays. Also provided are a 420mA output for retransmission, and an RS485 communication port with MODBUS/RTU. FLT601 has a 6-digit flow rate indicator and an 8-digit flow totaliser display. The FLT401 has a 4-digit and 6-digit display. The FLT Series of Flow Rate Indicator-Totalizers are used for flow monitoring and control, process monitoring and display, as well as voltage and current monitoring and display. The non-volatile memory with indefinite retention does not require batteries.

Radix Flow rate indicator-totaliser(Totalizer) model have facilities of communication to connect to PLC/ DCS/ SCADA, relay output based of Flowrate or totaliser, totaliser reset, retransmission of flowrate signal to other devices. Flow totalisers / totalizers accept signal from various types of flowmeters like electromagnetic, differential pressure transmitter on orifice plate , ultrasonic, turbine type etc.

Signal Isolators

Quality measurement and good equipment are very important parameter to achive Signal integrity. However, even with the best equipment, signals can be of inferior quality if the equipment is not properly installed or it is not protected by signal isolators / signal conditioners.

Radix design competency in signal isolation is one of the finest to be found. Radix signal isolators are an outstanding combination of accuracy, frequency response and signal handling. Choose fromloop-powered isolatorswhich require no external power supply and have very low loop drops, 3-port signal isolators which not only isolate input signals, but also act as signal multipliers and multiply signals to send to multple field instruments. Some of our signal isolators are HART compatible for effortless two-way field communication, that is achieved through superimposition of digital communication on top of the 4-20 mA signal.

Signal isolation devices are use to eliminate ground loop errors caused by noise (ground) and other such signal interference problems.

Signal isolators use one of many electronic methods to interrupt the connections between two grounds while passing the correct signal with little or no loss of accuracy. Without a way for ground currents to flow, these currents can't induce signal errors caused by ground noise.

Door Interlock System

DXC341 controls interlocking of 2 to 4 doors using door feedback sensors. It is a system which on request allows access to only one door for a predefined time and makes other door secure within the designated area.

LED indication show forcible operation of a door, which is blocked by the system.

Door locking time and opening time can also be set on board. A no touch switch / touch switch is provided at the entry side of each door for access.

Two general purpose inputs (GPI) are provided for emergency door opening. Two general purpose outputs (GPO) are relay outputs which can be used to operate a siren.

Thermowells and protection tubes are used to protect temperature sensors such asthermocouplesandRTDs.

Analog Input Module

Radix Analog Input Modules are cost-effective and versatile in PLC applications. They can also be used directly with SCADA applications without the use of a PLC. Another application is to use these as a Remote I/O in PLC systems.

In large Data Acquisition Systems, these Analog Inputs Modules will cost a fraction of the PLC Analog Input Modules.

SCM201 has 8 channels without channel-to-channel isolation, and SCM211 has 4 channels with channel-to-channel isolation of 300 VAC. Each channel is universal, and can be user configured for a variety of RTD, thermocouple, voltage and current inputs.

These Modules feature exceptionally good performance parameters; a typical accuracy of 0.1%, and baud rates up to 57.6 kHz.
