APPLICATIONS

The unit is used for blending the most delicate & fragile free flow products like powder or granules in 10 to 20 minutes. It is also the best way to mix very heavy & abrasive products the range of products includes colour, plastics, flour, drugs, pharmaceuticals, metal powders, minerals, fibers & many others.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

It is revolved end over end, moving the products in & out of the constricted octagonal areas. This causes multiple folding action that ensures a thorough intermeshing of all the ingredients in the batch. The result is a homogeneous blend regardless of particle size distribution, particle shape or density with a great efficiency.

SALIENT FEATURES

Material of construction for contact parts in AISI - 304 - 304L / 316 - 316L. Octagonal shaped body with rectangular top frustum & conical bottom discharge nozzle. Piped baffles provided to reduce mixing time & to avoid dead spot. Cleaning in place (CIP) nozzle provided for GMP/cGMP cleaning. Charging & discharging through butterfly or IRIS type diaphragm valve or knife gate valve through manually of pneumatically operated system. Fluid Bed Processor

Alliance fluid bed dryers and processor are manufactured in modular construction mainly consisting of main processing (drying) unit and separate inlet air preparation unit and separate exhaust air unit giving flexible and alternative installation option to the customers as per requirement.
Fluid bed processing involves drying, agglomeration, granulation, and coating of particulate materials. It is ideal for a wide range of both heat sensitive and non-heat sensitive products. Uniform processing conditions are achieved by passing hot air through a product layer under controlled velocity conditions to create a fluidized state.
Using intimate air-to-product contact, Drying is carried out by heated air supplied as main the source for drying, as it is effectively introduced by steam heating which gives high rates of heat exchange at high thermal efficiency while preventing overheating of individual particles.
Fluid bed coating of powders, granules, or tablets involves the spraying of a liquid on the fluidized powder under strictly controlled conditions. It is ideal equipment that is in conformity with the requirements of cGMP.

Double Cone Blender

Double Cone Blender or Mixer is an equipment and unique mixer which is used for uniform mixing and blending of dry Powders & grains. It is one of the simplest forms of mixer which consist of two cones whose openings are offset to each other along its axis to provide uniform mixing (See fig ). This offset of the taper cone helps entire mass inside the cone mixer to tumble up & down compared to simple cone mixer. Double cone mixer is used to mix gaur dal with water in guar gum plant and homogeneous lubrication of granules, grains, powder in most of the industries.

Fluid Bed Granulator

The Fluid Bed system have a bed of solid particles which are fluidized by passing a stream of air upward through a specially designed perforated sheet. The upward velocity of air is so maintained so as to slightly lift the solid particles and set them in motion. This motion can be utilized to bring about mixing as well as forward movement of the solids particles. The air is heated and the process hot air evaporates the fluid and dries the solids. Fines get agglomerated to larger granules particles thus providing large size.
