N2 Systems Communication Module

The SlotServer ControlLogix Metasys N2 by JCI Communications Interface allows an Allen Bradley ControlLogix platform to pass data between a ControlLogix CPU and Johnson Controls Metasys N2 networks. The Metasys N2 SlotServer can be configured as a Metasys Slave or Master enabling exchange of information between Metasys Master devices such as NCM, N-30, NAE or NIE) or Metasys Slave devices such as UNT, VMA, DX9100, VAV or AHU. Physically configured to plug into a standard ControlLogix rack, the SlotServer Module is configured for the 1756 platform using standard RSLogix message block reads to allow for efficient transfer of large blocks of data. Specific configuration data is contained in the Configuration CSV file downloaded to the module. SlotServer is a flexible communications module that can be configured to communicate to a wide range of protocols found in the extensive FieldServer Technologies library of protocols. The SlotServer is recognized as an inputoutput module by ControlLogix and has access to processor memory for data transfer between processor and module.

Siemens Industrial Ethernet Communication Module

The MVI56E Siemens Industrial Ethernet Communication Module allows Rockwell Automation ControlLogix Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs) to interface easily as an Ethernet Client with up to a maximum of 20 Siemens S7-200, S7-1200, S7-300, and S7-400 PLCs operating as Ethernet servers. The module uses ProSoft Configuration Builder (PCB) which provides a graphical configuration tool for management of module configuration files, as well as viewing communication and module diagnostic information using the high-speed Ethernet port. The MVI56E-FLN FA Control Network Enhanced communication module is a single-slot solution that allows ControlLogix-compatible processors to easily interface with other FL-net protocol devices. The module is certified for use with FL-net version 2.00 (OPCN-2) for the standard FA control network, as defined by JEMA (The Japan Electrical Manufacturers Association). The MVI56E-FLN module acts as a gateway between the FL-net network and the ControlLogix backplane. The data transfer from the ControlLogix processor is asynchronous from the actions on the FL-net network.
