Waterproofing Chemical - Zycosil Plus + Zycoprime Plus Zycosil Plus Zycosil Plus is a water soluble penetrative solution for waterproofing of masonry building material. Zycosil is Nano technology based as it provides molecular level hydrophobicity to inorganic substrate and it is eco-friendly as it is applied in water solution. The product is based on organosilicon chemistry, hence reacts with the inorganic substrate surface, seals the surface uto a depth of 2-3 mm and provides long service life. The Nano size allows penetration deep into substrate that provides 20+ years water repellency. This product is very economical. Zycosil is 10-20 % of the cost of solvent based silane technology. Zycosil and its diluted solution are non flammable and easy to apply using paint brush, roller or airless spray. No special tools or precautions are necessary to handle the product. De-grease the surface by using suitable solvents, if needed.   Bonding Primer To be used as a clear bonding primer by diluting 1:5 with water. Apply on the walls before painting or during putty rendering.   Waterproofing Primer For priming of concrete substrate, the surface should be thoroughly saturated with ZycoSil+ solution (Dilution Ratio - 1 part ZycoSil+ : 20 parts potable Water : 2 parts of ZycoPrime+).   Waterproofing Membrane For a waterproofing coating mix 1 part ZycoPrime+ with 1 part of cement & 1 part of 100 mesh sand. Add water for brushability. Brush apply the mix in span of 4-6 hours on the prepared concrete substrate. It is recommended to saturate the surface with ZycoSil+ solution prior to this application. Overlay the coating with a protective screed to the desired slope and thickness.
