Zoledronic Acid ( Inj Zoldria by Cipla ) is used to treat hypercalcemia (high levels of calcium in the blood) that may occur in patients with some types of cancer.It is also used in the treatment of post menopausal osteoporosis (porous bones), osteoporosis in men (porous bones) and steroid induced osteoporosis (porous bones).It inhibits the activity of osteoclasts, cells that causes loss of bone.
