YS-2 Yellow Sapphire Stone

Blessed with ultimate brilliance and large face, this baby weights 2.216 ct., medium, pastel, pure yellow color, perfectly executed, round, "flower" cut, measures 7.89mm in diameter by 4.40mm deep, eye flawless, VVS-VS type2 from the gem fields of Ratnapura, Sri Lanka. The only round of over 2 ct. size we saw in 2 weeks time. A great value, since rounds are seldom cut over 2 ct. size, (too much loss of rough material therefore loss of money), and always command higher premiums versus other shapes.
