Yellow ochre gets its characteristics yellow hue from limonite, which is mix of minerals like goethite, akaganeite, lepidocrocite and jarosite. The production process involves washing the raw material to remove sand and impurities, after which the residue is dried and finely ground into a pigment. This natural pigment blends well with other color and is commonly mixed with other paints for a variety of artistic and industrial applications.
