ULTRA CURE "Y" Type Strainers can be used for course filtration and can be used for large filtration area with fine mesh also. It can be installed in either a horizontal or vertical position (Downward flow) with the screen element pointing downwards.
Y-Strainers features a machine-tapered seat for a perfect fit to the removable strainer screen: and a blow off plug that can be replaced with an optional ball valve for in-line blow down of dirt, scale, rust etc.
