The test equipment helps to examine the weather resistance of polymers when placed under different climatic conditions that are created in the laboratories. The accelerated weathering testers are usually equipped with two types of lights namely, Fluorescent lamps and Xenon lamps. Out of these two lamps, xenon is widely used as they are highly feasible. The xenon lamps are used to measure the actual life of the polymers. These kinds of lamps are filled with xenon and discharge high volume of xenon hence produces sufficient amount of sunshine to measure the effect of heat on the polymers. These lamps offer stable spectrum distribution and offer steady light energy.
